  1. I am pretty sure you said you were finished with modifications, enough is enough etc etc etc..... .........but I stepped into the future and the modification bug bites you again and you make a TS manifold.
  2. Mick was kind enough to give me another drive of his car this afternoon with the final tune. All the initial impressions hold true. It drives beautifully everywhere and keeps delivering right through to redline. It still feels like the GTX wheel is a bit less punchy between 3,000 - 4,000rpm compared to my GT3076. This is bum dyno opinion only. Mick's car feels much quicker and more lively everywhere since going E85. I thought I should break the good news before Mick gets around to it. Mick has decided that he is going to make a merge collector twin scroll manifold to see if he can make the bottom end even stronger. Good on ya Mick you champion. lol
  3. What are you expecting in Magda Szubanski mode?
  4. ...as opposed to the good old sweet smelling exhaust gas coming out of the rear of the car. I am pretty sure the fuzz will take a dim view of a big ol external gate sticking up if they see it.
  5. Yeah I forgot about "sikkness".
  6. +1 OEM, why stick a whining belt on your car? ebay seller performancenissan is hard to beat for a full OEM 100k service kit.
  7. I expect to do some of the pre-practice things unless a better offer comes up.
  8. The Nissan turbine housing will be the restriction, they never perform as well as a genuine Garrett housing.
  9. X2 decent fuel pump. It doesn't have a garrett turbine housing to it won't perform like a GT3076. I doubt 280awkw is achievable with a stock nissan housing unless he goes to the happy dyno place over there.
  10. that bad eh...
  11. A small dampener in the helmet-cam and that would be a kickarse addition to coverage.
  12. Gotta hand it to you. If I made mistakes like this there is no way I would make it public. It sounds like you are nearly there so fingers crossed the thing starts and runs nicely.
  13. Hamo will gag on some if past form is any guide.
  14. My car has a HKS cast manifold and I am using an ATP 0.82 twin scroll housing with a single HKS gate. The gate spring is a pissy 7psi thing. My impression from driving the two cars is that the GT3076 seems stronger down low and this is consistent with the dyno sheet. The TS housing/manifold might be part of the reason for this. I tend to agree with Lith that the GTX range isn't really a step ahead but something more like 71mm GTX = 76mm GT as described. I wouldn't be overly confident of a great result buying a GTX3076 since the turbine is probably the limitation anyway. We need more results for the GTX range but make no mistake Mick's car is a pleasure to drive just like Scott said. It felt stronger all around on E85 vs 98 ron (I haven't driven it with the final E85 tune....yet). It is lacking nothing at all on the road and pulls away cleanly in almost any gear which is a credit to the overall tune from Unigroup and with the wonders of pineapple juice it is making very stout power in a street setup.
  15. Did you look in the for sale section here at SAU? I typed in Stagea in the "whole cars" section and was spoiled for choice.
  16. No one gets air like Vitaly.
  17. I can post up an overlay of my GT3076 vs Mick's GTX3071 both on 98ron if anyone wants to see a comparison. (If Mick's gives me permission)
  18. Alternatively find an R33 loom.
  19. I hear we have a result.
  20. well done Bob
  21. I remember being called a dick for suggesting this a few years ago. Liking your shrouds Dale.
  22. Are you a new Australian or were you stoned when you typed this? A few of us will be in the Brabham stand race day and Fangio for quali.
  23. I hear the sphincter of the universe doesn't have a race anymore...
  24. Funny reading this thread again.
