  1. Hehe well that only happened because I, er, had um, too much power and I couldn't get it down... yeah, that was it Lol nah mate you did well. Also helped that you were the only one wearing a skirt and NOT GOING SIDEWAYS!!! Hehe
  2. Actually there is another ride on this weekend (Sunday), starting at Noyes Motorcycles in Ipswich... leaving at 7am!! It's a 3 hour ride to Somerset Dam, have a bite to eat, then head to Willowbank Raceway to watch the Superbikes. Tickets are ~$20 if you buy there, or about $40ish if you buy at the gate. I'd forgotten all about it (actually I thought it was next weekend) - the guys said if anyone else wants to tag along then you're more than welcome. Same deal, there will be guys who cane it and guys who cruise, go at your own pace. I'm told Darryl Beattie (?) might be going on his turbo Blade... 226 rwhp, what a weapon  The offer's there anyway, if you wanted to meet up at some point then you're more than welcome, if not, then I might see you next time... Sorry 'bout that, forgot I'd already sorta committed to this one... let me know when the next one is on!
  3. Damn straight they are I'm pretty keen, as long as it's not a 'cane it everywhere' ride - I don't have a great deal of experience and would rather not bring the Blade home with cosmetic modifications I should be able to get a few other people to come along too, a few others with assorted two fiddy's, and perhaps a mystery person on the Bush Harley (KLR650 with basically no muffler ) /me points at slip and does that 'haa-haa' thing like Nelson off the Simpsons

These 'wheelies' would be far more impressive if I actually knew they were going to happen... it's still a learning curve. I'll have to take the bush harley out and practice, at least it doesn't really matter if it goes over (hey, it's a dirt bike). The guy in the VT probably couldn't give it much stick because the gold chains would fly everywhere and all his hoes would get the shìts You coasting this weekend slip? I dunno whether I am yet, depends on the turnout as to whether two trips to the coast in two days (then back to Toowoomba on Monday) is justified!!
  5. Or you could just buy a bike Hehe sorry, it had to be said I've seen WW98 around, but every time I've seen it, it's been parked... dammit, there aren't too many things better than an angry GTR with really loud turbos
  6. Might come down for a run - won't be racing though, the clutch in the 33 is shagged and I'm not game to run the bike yet
  7. Cam Mine is the one in the pic - it wasn't at the last skidpan day because it was dinted It's all fixed up now though. It's a red Series 1 R33 with the stocko wheels, stocko body kit, stocko... you get the picture By the way, I actually work with a mate of yours. Cameron with the blue S14a 200SX?? Apparently your car has a bit of a rep up here Slip What I did last time I organised a skidpan was charged an extra couple of dollars per place. If someone didn't turn up with the cash, then that covered the shortfall. If everyone turned up, I shouted drinks/lunch with the extra. Easy.

slip Orright, I'll probably give you a call tonight then. The 954 is a bit of a weapon, apparently they're good for a stock-as-a-rock low nine (a bit over half a sec quicker than mine)... crazy. Hey I had the front wheel up on mine on Sunday night on the way back from Gary's - went back to second at about 110 and buried it. Bloody thing started pointing at the sky, near **** myself. The joys of a 1:1 power to weight ratio You leave dem Commodores alone boy

  10. You wanted some of us northerners to reply... I won't be able to make it unfortunately, I can't get the time off work! Sounds good though, Slip, Gary and I were talking a little while ago (NYE, so we were slurring a little) about doing a Sydney/Canberra run. Lemme know when the next one is on and I *might* be able to tag along. Sorry
  11. Well I can't really do Friday nights, but Saturday nights are normally OK. Can I suggest that if you're part of the "meet/race" group that you have your runs nowhere near where the rest of us hang out, the last thing we need is yet another good hangout killed off by cops cracking down on everyone because of a few. I'm not saying don't have fun, just be careful and considerate of the rest of us, and please think of the long-term use of the area! If we treat the area right, chances are we'll be left alone!
  12. I've already spoken to ya over the phone bitch (yeah it's Marc), you know I'll be there It'll be interesting to see how much difference actually having some front end grip makes... last time was scary I'm in Toowoomba during the week so if you want me to drop the cash to you then it'll have to be on a weekend. Or I can just give it to you on the day, if I turn up :bahaha: Should bring the bike out this time, get some drift happening on the 'Blade  Hey these new smileys rock
