  4. I spot 810-OFF all the time in West End, and also a white R33 with xxx-ILB on the plates
  5. ^^^ What he said
  6. MrR33 is taken, sorry Both done!
  7. +1 for diesel mechanics. Get into that and prove you're good at it, and there will always be heaps of decent-paying work around. At least until we run out of oil lol
  8. This isn't directed at you mate, this is for everyone...If you have an issue with some posts, report them. I don't have time to read the entire thread and it's possible we'll miss posts from time to time, but if they're pointed out one of us will look into them. What we won't do is get involved in personal squabbles. If a post breaks the rules, it'll be acted upon. If it doesn't break the rules and we deem it to be acceptable, it'll stay. If this thread turns to crap, it's closed and/or deleted... so if you want your chat thread to stay, stop the petty stabs at each other!
  9. Deleted a couple of posts... keep it above board please guys.
  10. I can't help with tyres but honestly mate, the skidpan won't do much to your tyres, it's wet cement If you burn your tyres you're doing something very wrong.
  11. No probs Just confirming, you wanted it with the #$, not 34?
  12. Or alternatively you could throw me the keys and I'll drive it down for you lol
  13. We had no problems getting 98 the whole way. Make sure you fill up just inside the Qld border though, fuel jumps in price once you hit NSW.Coffs Harbour, Armidale, Muswellbrook should all have 98, if you need to stop before you make it to Sydney you can stop at Hexham or Wyong. I'm not sure about going via Tenterfield, they may or may not have 98 so if you need that, you're safer heading south to Coffs then west to Armidale, then south from there to Musswelbrook, then head towards Sydney.
  14. Inland route isn't bad, and is generally quicker time-wise than the coast route (despite being ~30km longer). Last time we went to Sydney we came back by heading west via Musswelbrook, then north through Tamworth (we have a photo of the 33 parked in front of the Golden Guitar lol), Armidale etc, then east to Coffs via Bellingen, then up the coast. If you want to go inland the whole way, instead of heading to Coffs you can continue north via Glenn Innes and Tenterfield and come out around Warwick. Reverse this for your purposes of course but that's how we plot our trips back from Sydney
  15. Space shuttle.
  16. Wow, random thread lol +1
  17. I'm no sparky either but I'd thinking along the same lines as Dantay, ie something not turning off. As above, stereos are a prime candidate, and if you have an amp check that too. It's also possible that the alternator is dodgy (new, reco or wrecker special?) and isn't charging properly, it could even be responsible for your power draw. If the easy checks fail, you're down to a process of elimination. Plug into a multimeter and check for current draw, and pull fuses until you notice it drop. Something on that circuit is staying on and draining your power.
  18. I can't believe nobody wants a cheap luxo barge! Don't be put off by the imperfections, I think you'll find that a lot of second-hand cars have problems, the seller just doesn't tell you about them. I'm being as up-front as I can with this sale, so you shouldn't get any surprises. Come on fellas, you know you want it, make me an offer, I need it gone!
  19. Damn that's gotta hurt
