  1. I can imagine it'd be amusing to watch... I'm not in a hurry to give someone that opportunity though haha Mind you I've come a cropper on dirt bikes a few times, and there's ALWAYS someone around to witness it
  2. I can't offer any legal advice but that's some pretty bad luck mate. That said, keep in mind that a skipping back tyre can get you an undue noise ticket, and I also know of at least one person who has had their car confiscated for "hooning" because their diff (tight, not locked but probably not as tight as yours by the sound of it) chirped over a white line while turning. Completely ridiculous but what can you do?
  3. Yeah it rocks. I save a stack of time getting to work each day I ride in, if nothing else being able to use the T3 lane (Lutwyche Rd) helps a lot! And there's always parking spots
  4. Haha sorry, couldn't resist Nah I feel your pain, I was without my bike for a while (a long while...) and every time I saw one ride past I'd get that "damn you..." feeling lol
  5. Rode the bike to work today... farken love it
  6. In a sport where contact (wall, other vehicle, whatever) is highly likely, it makes sense not to worry too much about appearances. That said, a tidy drift car shows a certain amount of confidence in your abilities and those of your peers... Beau is pretty handy behind the wheel and I'm sure the car will be tidied up in due time. But anyway... nice effort in the comp mate, good luck with the next one!
  7. Not really mate, about the only way I could do it is if you can convince the person with the name you want to give it up. Given that they've been inactive for that long it's likely their email address isn't valid any more but you can give it a go. Sorted!
  8. Saw 10SST turning near the Chermside shops this morning
  9. Farkin hell
  10. zomg hi stranger Oh the black 33 is probably Noel's, it's spent a bit of time there recently getting sorted
  11. Pretty reasonable assumption when they estimate speeds at 150km/h, regardless of the type of vehicle... that'd probably be my first thought too If they were indeed being 'chased', a huge thumbs up to the gutless wonders in the other car for leaving two people seriously injured/dead trapped in a demolished car
  12. Heaps of Skylines including Mark and Russ' R35 GTR at QR yesterday!
  13. +1 Bus drivers here seem to have the attitude that the give way sign on the back of their bus also gives them the right to run reds, cut people off while changing lanes, tailgate etc
  14. Well with my old PFC (S1 R33 if it helps) the bolt holes on the bracket didn't line up (I compared the stock ECU to the PFC and the holes were, indeed, in different places) so I just drilled some holes through the brackets to make it fit. I also needed to cut a small notch out of the bracket to allow the plug for the hand controller to fit in place, the bracket partially covered that hole. If you do it neatly it looks like a factory job Probably still not perfect but IMHO much better than sticky tape. I've never compared the 34GTR ecu with a PFC but they should be externally the same size, so I'd imagine the above would work for you too. If I were running a workshop I'd suggest ways to mount it properly - to me, mounting an ECU directly to the car's body with double sided tape is a bit bodgy?
  15. Your best bet is to chat in this thread, or to check the events section for events in your area
  16. Dan is 3lit3 32 on these forums
  17. I lost interest way back when the Superleague thing was happening, and just haven't been able to get back into it. I watched the 2nd half of the game last night and it was pretty good though, maybe it's back? Based on the half I saw it was more a case of NSW making a couple of defense mistakes (tired?) rather than being outclassed in any way. But really, how good was the QLD defense! I thought NSW was over a couple of times but they just couldn't quite make it, and it seemed that every time NSW bombed the ball, Slater was the man who saved the day. Top game. Anyway, well fought fellas, good luck next year
  18. Happy belated birthday mate!!
  19. xxx-IOJ, white R33 GTS25t with what looks to be a boot lid from a GTR V-Spec (spoiler, badge and sticker), V-Spec front bar etc, a bit of other damage so suspect it's been fixed with parts from a wrecked GTR. Bad luck mate :\
  20. Nah not you mate I haven't heard from Steve in years, no idea where he is now
  21. Oh yeah forgot about Queen Mary Falls, oh noes! You serious about heavy traffic using Murphy's Ck Rd? That sucks
