  1. Sorry mate but if you don't post up at least a price we'll have to delete the thread. See here for more info. You might find it beneficial to also post some more detailed information on the item, particularly condition and photos if you have them, this kind of thing will help your item sell

    Qld Transport

Deregistering and reregistering the car may or may not get you around your immediate problem but, providing you're able to find someone who'll RWC it at its current height, you'll be driving a car that could easily be defected the next day, then you're in the crap again. What then? Dereg and rereg again? Why not just make the car legal and avoid the headache altogether? 100mm is fairly low and if you go much lower you'll struggle to get the car to handle.
  3. 1J is about as drop-in as you can get for the MX83, 2J is heaps more difficult (electronics mainly). Not that I've investigated it, if Karen asks
  4. Cressida = footpaths as well
  5. Oops my bad lolCheers
  6. Farken tell me about it I need to put some James Bond-esque gadgets on the daily...
  7. OK detail added as promised, and thread moved to Events
  8. I hope you got the guy's details anyway? You never know what kind of damage you'll find later, something that looks like "nothing" may hide bent/broken bits. Always get details
  9. Heh someone else a while ago thought it was F--- The World... the were asking why everyone was so negative lol
  10. Do you need a RWC, or are you looking to clear a defect? Assuming you're just after a RWC, to be honest you shouldn't have a huge issue with your car. Wind up your suspension if it's below the 100mm requirement, make sure your lights all work, pod is secured (that's sometimes enough) or in a sealed box, tyres are legal, steering wheel isn't stuffed, your gear knob has a H pattern on it, brakes work properly, it's not insanely loud etc and it should pass easily. The only issue you might have is with noise as the HKS Super Dragger isn't exactly silent. An exhaust shop should be able to put in a resonator or something for fairly cheap if you're worried about it, speak to Rob Bliss if you're northside, he's very reputable and knows his stuff. Don't feel silly btw, you'll find most people on here are pretty understanding
  11. Oh dear god... don't get me started. Karen and I just did a bit of a road trip over the weekend and we saw a huge amount of absolutely atrocious driving. We don't profess to be the greatest drivers in the world, but at least we put in some effort and we care about how our actions affect others. I suspect that the laid-back Aussie attitude also applies to their driving - "I'll just do this, and that person can just f-ing well get over it". Heaven forbid that somebody cuts THEM off though. It doesn't make the roads a friendly place to be.
  12. Definitely a keeper! But yeah definitely keep onto them - don't forget fitting and balancing and a wheel alignment!!

    Who On Here Is

Might be worth mentioning this in the 'spotted' thread
  14. CandyBoy -> exmntl Done! Sky...Cab -> Clutch Done! (I just used the first one on your list that wasn't taken, hope it's ok ) To make it easier in future, the best way to work out whether a name is available or not is, at the top right of the window, there is a button called "members". Click it and search for any name you're considering. If it's not in there, there's a fair chance it's not taken
  15. We're looking at ways to revamp the for sale sections at the moment - there's a whole thread discussing it in the mod section so it's not being ignored. I understand that not being able to edit your listings is a bit of a pain but there is method in the madness, and as alluded to previously it means that someone can't just sign up and do the dodge on someone, then remove or alter the records of what they had offered for sale. I know it's not perfect but it's the lesser of two evils until a "proper" fix is in place. Thanks for your patience guys
  16. Yeah the CSS didn't load by the looks of it, which in layman's terms tells your browser what the page should look like. That can be caused by a whole stack of things from server load to your internet connection/ISP being hammered at the time. But as Madaz says, CTRL-F5 should fix it most of the time
  17. Not sure how easy this is to change actually, I can investigate what's needed but it's up to Christian whether or not it's actually changed
  18. Oh no, that's awful Condolences to friends and family.
  19. Done! Sorry mate we already have a riceline too

  21. Spotted 10STT merging onto Anzac Ave last night
  22. wtf... hahahaThat should be enough to throw the case out right there, that's ridiculous lol
  23. This thread is farken bizarre Hope it's all sorted once it goes through the courts anyway!
  24. OMG happy birthday for yesterday Joshwa
  25. For me personally, I like the sig size restrictions. Not so much for any perceived reduction in bandwidth (the pics still load so I'm not convinced anyway), I like it because it means you don't have people with sigs that take the whole damn screen! Some people feel the need to put enormous pics in their sigs, along with dozens of lines of text and it's just crap having to scroll past it all. The option to blanket disable viewing sigs is always there but sometimes you want to see sigs, and the restriction means that I can keep sigs turned on without having to scroll past somebody's life story, witty quotes, mod list, lolcat pics etc
