Holy crap!! I flew into Sydney yesterday morning and when I got to work all the guys here were talking about massive, cricket ball sized hailstones... I thought they were exaggerating a bit but it seems not It sucks to see all these damaged cars and homes As far as I'm aware nobody managed to get any serious long-term injuries out of it which is good, but not from want of trying. I understand your passion for your cars, but when there's hail 8cm across falling out of the sky at 200-odd km/h, leave the car where it is and protect yourself!! It'll hurt to see your pride and joy damaged, but it's better than a fractured skull, or worse. Kudos to the guys who braved it anyway.

The 3SGTE is used in the JGTC Supras because they're allowed to do more within the rules - with the smaller engine they can run more boost I think, I don't recall exactly. Anyway they were used not because they're a "better" engine than the 2J, just that it gave them the best chance of winning based on the rules in place. That M3 is porn, it better not be yours!! I know it sucks guys but to keep SAU safe from possible lawsuits, please be careful about the kind of light you cast on workshops. I'd love as much as anyone else to let you guys say what's on your mind if a workshop has wronged you, but we just can't If you really have to say something negative, a simple "I've had some bas experiences with XYZ Performance Racing Workshop Thingo, PM me for details" should do the trick.

Any of the rotary/TA45 transplants into a tiny old Datto/Mazda is pretty insane (I wouldn't call it dumb, just crazy lol), there are plenty around but there's one in particular I remember, 560rwkw or something in an R100... at the track it'll annihilate pretty much anything in a straight line, but over 200 I'm told it gets a bit scary and unstable. It still handles like a 30+ year old chassis. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want one though lol Have also seen a Hayabusa with a bigger turbo than you see on most cars, apparently had 400-odd rwkw and it didn't seem unreasonable! Oh and I'd also really like to put a V8 in my old Cressida

Yep, in My Controls there's an option down the left under 'Subscriptions' for View Topics. Click it, then tick the thread/s you want to unsubscribe from. Choose Unsubscribe from the dropdown at the bottom of the page, then click "with selected". Job done
