  2. you ran out of cable ties?
  3. Well you get the USB cable, plug it into your card reader, and depending on whether your camera uses MMC, SD, XD, or... actually I might just leave it
  4. Use full reply instead of quick reply, then just below the bit where you enter your text there's an 'attachments' box. Hit browse, find the file to attach, then hit upload. Job done.
  5. And yes, the other thread is "fun" sigh
  6. Bahaha yeah heard about that
  7. Forecast for today, and probably the rest of the week. Early morning meh, freshening to an easterly meh by lunch time, gusty meh's in the afternoon calming to a low pressure meh in the evening.

  12. Didn't you just get rid of one? (ok ok so it wasn't a cheapo shitbox, but that comment was too good to leave alone )
  13. Heh I used to laugh at the 'ricer vs racer' thing as well, but lost interest in it when the marketing types raped it and turned it into the crazy frog
  14. Saw a good quote somewhere a long time ago... "VTEC is great, if you wanna run 14s for the rest of your life" OK so it's not entirely accurate but it made me laugh
  15. I ran 23psi on an unopened RB25. Buggered if I know how but it refused to die, I had another bottom end ready to go but I ended up not needing it. Certainly not something I'd recommend trying though I just did it because I considered the stock bottom end to be expendable lol
  16. lol and pg2me

  18. Go for it Terry As you say the info is readily available via other sources anyway, I can't see a problem with it being here as well.

    Helmets!

Couple of hundred should do it easy. Get one that has a fibreglass outer shell rather than a plastic one, if you do smack your head into something the fibreglass will break off in sheets and will distribute the impact much more evenly, plastic will just bend/buckle around the point of impact. These days though it's pretty hard to buy a bad helmet though In regards to air vents and the like, unless you buy a helmet specifically for car racing, chances are it was designed with bike riders in mind. On a bike when a windscreen isn't stopping most of the air flow, air vents make a huge difference to your comfort level on a hot day, and removable liners are great for when you've sweated into them a heap and they start to get a bit smelly or greasy, or if after a few years the foam in them starts to break down or flatten. Just pull out the liner and either wash or replace it, viola, new helmet

    Helmets!

lol typical salesman reply... You'll likely find that the main difference between a helmet that costs a few hundred and one that costs $1200+ are things like air vents, snazzy colour schemes, racer endorsements and the like. You'll also pay more for removable linings (so you can wash or replace them as needed), clip-in guards that deflect your breath away from the visor, different kinds of visor pods, and of course the brand. HJC for example will always be cheaper than a Shoei or Arai. It depends just as much on what you're planning on doing with it as anything else. All that said, if the helmet isn't comfortable and/or doesn't fit you properly, it's not safe. If you have a fat head like mine you'll probably want to look at a HJC, they're middle-of-the-road stuff in terms of features but just as safe as anything else. Remember that they all have to pass the same standards, but some pass by a much greater margin than others All helmets sold here should be ADR approved to the best of my knowledge, but some will have other endorsements such as SNELL.
  23. Too much sitting down trying to shield our arses from you Eddies poofs
