PFC will do pretty much everything you'll want. It plugs into the factory loom, has a good base map (in that it'll get the car running immediately, the maps won't be anywhere near correct), and there are plenty of people who can tune them now.
Haltech is getting some big fans, they will cost you more but will do everything the PFC will plus proper knock control (as opposed to just detecting it and flashing a warning, but not actually doing anything, like the PFC) and is more expandable.
I used to run a PFC and was more than happy with it, I didn't make insane amounts of power or anything but it had different injectors, AFM, turbo, cooler etc and the PFC ran the lot very well, and it still did 500+km per tank of fuel. They're getting hard to find now though
