Re-read Einstein's posts, which are 3 out of the first 4 posts in this thread.1. There is confusion over whether the whole double-demerit thing is happening at all... some say it is, some say it isn't, and according to the people I've spoken to who have tried to get a straight answer, you get a different response every time you ask Qld Transport so they don't know either. 2. What's the point of having 12 points on a license when it takes two minor offenses to lose them? I don't see anywhere Mel 'cries' about being booked in the first place (actually she hasn't posted since post #4), just that it's crap you can lose a clean license with two relatively minor fines, and that no one seems to know the situation with the points, including the people responsible for handing you your license and collecting the fines. No, the rest of the thread looks to be nothing more than people jumping at the chance to be keyboard warriors. I don't really care where mature discussion takes the thread (to a point of course), and I don't care if any of you guys have previous history, but take the shitfights somewhere that isn't SAU. Feel free to debate the topic or discuss things as adults, but if this thread keeps spiralling downwards you know what to expect. (Note this isn't aimed just at maxe - his post is quoted purely because it summarises the arguments)

An attorney got home late one evening, after a very taxing day, trying to get a stay of execution for a client, James Wright, who was due to be hanged for murder at midnight. His last-minute plea for clemency to the Governor had failed and he was feeling worn out and depressed. As soon as he got through the door at home, his wife started on him about: "What time of night do you call this? Where have you been?" and on and on. Too shattered to play his usual role in this familiar ritual, he went and poured himself a shot of whiskey and headed off for a long hot soak in the tub, pursued by the predictable sarcastic remarks. Finally, realising what a day he must have had, she decided to go upstairs to give him the good news. As she opened the bathroom door, she was greeted by the sight of her husband's rear end as he was bent over naked drying his legs and feet. "They're not hanging Wright tonight," she said. He whirled around and screamed, "FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, WOMAN! ... DON'T YOU EVER STOP!?"

Spotted a two-tone green/silver R33 S1 on Montague Rd, West End at around 2.30pm today. I was on the foot falcon so didn't wave Or apparently you can tap into the oil galleries on the RB30 block, to supply oil to the VCT.

Motorex in the US use parts of a Maxima dash to convert the 33's to LHD I believe.

I usually just back off the throttle, maybe touch the brakes enough for the lights to come on (but not enough for the brakes to actually do anything) - as has been mentioned, if they hit you it's their fault, but you're still without a car. Just back off, let the car slow itself down. Keep slowing down and eventually they'll go around you. Hopefully at a great rate of knots, in close proximity to a police vehicle.
