It was a while ago but from memory I used some industrial double-sided tape to stick the ECU to the factory brackets. I had to modify one of the brackets though so the plug for the hand controller would fit but apart from that it went straight in.

Lol don't worry about it, most people miss it the first time around.

I gave Gary a lift to work this morning. For those that didn't notice/care, he had the hot rogan josh. You fill in the gaps

They only go into your sent items if you tick the box towards the bottom that says something like "keep a copy of this message". By default this box is not ticked.

If not, what I've done before was take all of the rear trim out of the car and have my brother drive it slowly up and down the dead-end street near my old place, with me in the back searching for the noise. In my case it ended up being the coax cable running to the aerial (rear left...) hitting the outside panel of the car - a clip had gone brittle and broken. A couple of zip ties to attach it firmly again and the noise went away.

It's OK, Anna and Andy are heading your way, that should be punishment enough

Yeah I'd be keen for a cruise tomorrow night, but Mark's right - riverside is a fairly well-known hangout. Expect to be hassled (or at least followed) going through there if you're not 60 and driving a Camry. Such a shame, as it really is a nice spot. My brain is mush atm thanks to four hours of looking at a database so I can't suggest an alternative, but I'd be interested pending the destination. I work near the BP at Yatala and go past 8 mile plains on my way home - so I'd be leaving Yatala, driving past the meet point, going home, then basically going back to work and home again vai somewhere yet to be decided lol

Thanks for the heads up - apart from anything else, if these guys are like the ones Col posted, it's a bit of a worry. If they're willing to pretend to be cops, they're obviously willing to break the law - and who knows, they might be willing to hurt you or damage your car unless you apologise profusely, give your "hoon" car to charity, buy a Prius and make it your life's mission to rid their neighbourhood of hoons. Personally, as has been mentioned, if they do pull you over I'd be making a phone call to the local station - if they turn out not to be real cops, I'd be telling them to stick their vigilante crap where it fits and ensuring that the REAL cops were given as much info as possible. If they DO turn out to be real cops, you probably won't have anything to worry about. rofl If there's a huge problem in the area I can understand their motives but geez, how stupid are these people?

Sorry mate, I appreciate your enthusiasm but the events section isn't getting many hits at the moment because it's only just been brought back, and keeping threads out of it by posting them off-topic elsewhere won't help to restore its popularity. If you want more hits into the events section, reply to posts in other sections where people might be asking what's happening and link to a thread there, or advertise it in your sig.
