Mucking around in the boot this arvo, opened up a slot on the right hand side of the boot lining to discover a bottle with some sort of liquid in it with hoses running off it going somewhere. Anyone know what it is and what its for so i know what to buy when it needs filling???

I havent taken to much notice on when boost comes on. Maybe between 2500-3500rpm

From what i can see by looking through the piping with a torch it has garrett. Bought the car from a yard in which the car had only been in aus for a few days. it hadnt been complied or regoed. They didnt say nothing about the chipped ecu so im assuming they didnt really have a good look at what was on the car. All the guy could tell me is there were a heap of mods and that he wasnt very sure at what had been done to it????

Need some advice people. I want to find out what turbos i have on my gtr. Does this involve pulling apart half my engine bay to find out. Im interested cos recently found out i had a mines chipped ecu. Car also has a 320km nismo dash and also 3 nismo gauges. Car has custom dump pipes and a 3.5inch exhaust with hks superdrager muffler. Also got a super avcr in which was set at 1.2bar when i got the car. Im the first owner in aus and am interested to know what other mods it may have which in the long run will save me heaps.

Thanks for the replies guys. I hit it with paint stripper in a can and it came up pretty good i think. It looks alot better then when it was black. Got some metal polisher onto it just to give it a clean look. I tooks some pics on my phone and it was late in the arvo so apologize for the crap quality pics.

Well have to say it was a pain in the rear but i got the job done. Gotta love paint stripper in a spray can does the job great. Car looks heaps better now with a silver cooler. Thanks for the comments it helped.

Thanks for your help mate. Im lookin for a polished finish so i will go with the paint thinners and see how good i can clean it up if it looks crap then i will spray

Wanna give my gtr intercooler a silver finish. Whats the best option. clean it and spray it silver/ chrome or attack it with paint stripper then polish it??? few ideas would be great.

question has probably been asked before but im new at this so a little help would be great. GTR cooler is black and i want it silver. whats the best way to achieve this. Paint stripper or do i paint it in a silver/ chrome paint. Some ideas would be appreciated thanks...

How can i tell the difference between a standard R33 GTR AFM and aftermarket like a Z32???
