  1. I would go for Buddy Club PIIs in titanium silver thanks LW.
  2. Are these off a standard R34 or are they N1-spec turbos? LW.
  3. For 2-3 times the price, is anyone suprised? LW.
  4. Did you get one for my mate? PM me payment details... LW.
  5. What condition are they in? Any pictures? Anyone know how these compare to high-flow K&N panels? LW.
  6. Sorry, re-reading my last post it sounds a bit confrontational -- it wasn't meant too. What I meant was: I don't doubt its better than standard halogen, but if you want the best possible result, you need the right projectors. Just so you know, reflectors are less effective than projectors. I will be attempting to retrofit a kit like so -- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...ssPageName=WDVW -- into R32 GT-R headlights. By using Hella projectors (from an E55 Merc), ballasts, and high quality Philips D2S bulbs, the output should be as good as possible. funkymonkey: you can have it -- the glass has ugly lines in it, not totally clear LW.
  7. It may well be better than the original, but unless the projector was specifically designed with a HID setup in mind, its probably less than optimal. Retrofitting is not that hard if you have the time, inclination and do the research. I will be attempting to retrofit a set of Merc E55 bi-xenon projects/ballasts/etc into an R32 GT-R setup as soon as I can locate some R32 GT-R headlights for a decent price. To buy all the necessary bits will cost you anywhere from $400-700. LW.
  8. This is getting off topic, but I highly recommend you don't use "HID conversion" kits as they rely on the pre-exisitng projectors which were never designed for HID/Xenon. If you are serious about HID, you need to retrofit Xenon projectors such as those from the Merc E55, BMW 3/5/7 series, Audi A6/S6, etc, and also get yourself a set of ballasts, wires and bulbs. LW.
  9. Sorry CK, but your fart cannon is far more ricey than replacing ugly indicators LW.
  10. www.prestigemotorsport.com.au -- nothing but a pleasure to use so far. LW.
  11. I always knew your mother was a bit manly Lets see, I work in IT, but only part time and earn a pittance -- my boss agreed to an increase 10 months ago and still hasn't started paying me: bitch. Anyway, I am in the third year of my..... arts (for the illiterate out there, that's history, etc, etc, not visual arts) .... degree, so I guess my money making opportunities will come in about a year and a half once I graduate with honours. Regardless, I have managed to save about $13,000 in the past 4-ish years, most of which I now have sitting in an ING direct account. Tempted to invest it in something, but I don't like the look of the property market at the moment and shares are a gamble I would rather not take. Thankfully I am leeching off my parents for the car LW.
  12. Agreed, the orange indicators look arse on all the darker coloured cars IMHO. LW.
  13. I've got a mate who wants one, so put him down for one. LW.
  14. I PM'ed Rezz asking him to post in this thread since K's Online Garage sells D-speed. He hasn't read the PM yet, but hopefully he will post RiceCooker: All of the white cars look arse. Look at the Silver GTR on page 1. LW.
  15. Finally found it -- 880RWHP Viper vs. 3 Busa's and a 12R. http://www.nickslick.com/viper2.wmv LW.
  16. Are these even still for sale? LW.
  17. They have GTS-t ones for $350, but hey, UAS isn't the cheapest place around so perhaps you can find better? I would spend it on go fast bits too though LW.
  18. CK you rice boi The side skirts looks like Nismo's to me -- there is a set at http://www.nismo.com.au/ for a R32 GT-R @ 450/pair, but no idea for a GTS-t. LW.
  19. drewecrome: how bout you bloody search! this has been covered before. If you can't help yourself, you can't expect other's to help you. LW.
  20. It was as high as 85 yen to the aussie a few weeks ago. I expect the rate to go against us as the economic data coming out of Japan is quite positive at the moment. LW.
  21. Guilty: the search button is your friend -- lots have people have bought from Nengun. LW.
  22. I'll tell you one thing, you better not be writting for this magazine as I can't stand 1337 speak :flamed: LW.
  23. Denzo from Japanese Motorsport has them on his car: http://www.japanesemotorsport.com.au/denzo180sx.html I imagine they can either get them or point you in the right direction. Personally I think it would be a lot cheaper to get a copy, but I think you probably know that already Edit: maybe also give dAVE on this forum a buzz as he can get Advans from Japan: http://207.44.134.160/rims/ Edit 2: manufacturer's website for the rims: http://www.yokohamatire.jp/yrc/japan/wheel...g2/siena_g2.jsp Edit 3: (man I have too much time on my hands) -- if you can't afford the ADVANS, check out the Hyperfang II's here as they are basically a direct copy: http://www.speedywheels.com.au/Speedy_Alloy.htm LW.
  24. franks: Far out that's huge -- how did it pass noise output tests? LW.
