  3. Give Rezz a buzz. LW.
  4. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=32005 ?
  5. I'm with meshmesh -- if the Mines Response R34 runs an airbox, there has to be something to it. Are you comparing the pods to the standard airbox filter? A fairer comparison would be to a high-flow aftermarket filter... LW.
  6. There is a WTB section: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/fo...isplay.php?f=13 LW.
  7. I was under the impression that a GT-R has to have the same size front and back unless you have a torque splitter? LW.
  8. I'm guessing here, but WA usually has less restrictive car regulations than the other states... LW.
  9. :werd: SydneyKid is da man! LW.
  10. :werd: Like christian, I can probably let 200-ish go easily, but $300 is starting to get up there.... LW.
  11. The Mine's Response R34 GT-R uses the stock airbox with an upgraded panel filter. Although they may have changed the piping from the airbox, I think it still says something for the virtues of airboxes over the current pod-craze. LW.
  12. I am probably out too unless they can do slightly better on the C/F lip. LW.
  13. Are you the person in one of the streets off Allen St in Leichhardt? If so, nice to see another Skyline owner in Leichhardt LW.
  14. Not working for my either. LW.
  15. Almost all the buses I catch are natural gas, then again I am near the CBD on very busy bus routes... And I was only trying to stir LW.
  16. When you have a car that can carry 60-odd people I am sure the government won't mind you creating an little extra noise due to the savings on emissions. LW.
  17. Where are you getting that info from, because its just wrong. LW.
  18. Primarily because the plates are in short supply so market forces come in to play -- supply and demand. Workshops also have to cover the cost of becoming an approved workshop (remember, they only get 100 plates a year) while still making the process economically viable. LW.
  19. As I understand it, all the modifications too the car to comply with the ADRs must be certified by an engineers report. That doesn't mean they have to be installed by an engineer, merely that they have to be present and working when the car is certified. I could be wrong though LW.
  20. Probably not -- $18000 is about right before you add on all the taxes and compliancing costs. LW.
  21. Import taxes, GST, stamp duty, not to mention compliancing costs ($5500 on R34 I hear). Edit: http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/au/html/icc.html LW.
  22. The whole car. The engineers certificate then allows you to get a blue slip (ie. get number plates) and then do rego. I have a list of places in Sydney as I am importing an R32 GT-R -- but not adeliade I'm afraid. There doesn't seem to be a directory of these workshops so they can be quite hard to find, but Geoff should be able to point you to someone. The cheapest in Sydney is about $1200, the median is about $1500, and the more expensive places about $1800-1900. LW.
  23. Well I will start the ball rolling at $800 LW.
  24. Condition, age, reason for sale and warranty status? Any pictures? Cheers, Lucien.
  25. /me waits for Merlii to appear LW.
