  1. It also adds weight, however the majority of owners aren't going to notice IMHO. Lucien
  2. That was meant as a compliment, honest. Its looking very sleek and sexy.
  3. Yeah it does actually I can't see why not. Call up any aftermarket sunroof installer and I'm sure they'll more than happily take your $2k. Lucien.
  4. I can't really comment on anything but the styling. Finally someone I can agree with I've never liked the sedan R-series cars, but at least the R34 sedan gets the benefit of the harder styling of the 34 line. With enough money ploughed in to it, it can even look quite good (as others mentioned, see Numoken/URAS). The Chaser I have just never liked. To me it represents the peak Japtastic 90s styling. No amount of fiddling and aftermarket parts help: it just looks like a desperate attempt to inject some excitement in to an otherwise extremely boring design. The Chaser in the first post looks like a dog to me. The one posted by ABuSD is the best one I have seen, but its stills says "tarted up Camry styling" to me. Sorry Lucien.
  5. Hehehehe. I seem to remember it was about $20 last time I checked, but no doubt it has gone up (do fees ever go down?) and probably varies depending on your financial institution.
  6. I'm getting "this site is not supported" messages instead of the images... I must say Nick's car is looking very nice for a whale. Lucien.
  7. You do realise if you walk in to your bank you can take money out against your credit card? (Check the fees though). Lucien.
  8. That's great if you have an RB20/25, but what about RB26 options (sorry, I'm feeling selfish today ) When do the stock RB26 lowmount manifolds, in your estimation, become "the weak link"? Given the above I would assume that when the lowmounts do become the weak link you would advocate for an equal length solution (assuming one fits in a road car engine bay) over extrude honing the stock manifolds? Lucien.
  9. Michael: thanks for the tip. I'll have a look tomorrow if I have time. Maybe the bolt has come loose (might account for the squeeking?). Be nice if it was a 10 minute fix.
  10. When you sleep with the right person....
  11. Typical German car owner/driver -- think they own the god damn road
  12. ^^ What he said Lucien.
  13. Slowly slowly working my way there. Need to get some brackets made up to mount the E55 projectors on the stock GT-R mounting system. Haven't had time yet. Lucien.
  14. Oh, I meant to contribute a little bit of knowledge too Apparently if the squeek is quite high up in the pedal travel, its more likey a clutch problem than master/slave cylinder problem.
  15. The only thing that will be burning is the hole in my back pocket Urgh. I had plans for that money. Question is, should I just stick another stocker in or give the-main-man Mr Jim Berry a call? Hmmmm.. A sense another thread coming on.
  16. Took the car round to Grey Imports so they could have a look at the slave: sadly not a drip of oil. Nath played with the clutch and gearbox for a bit. Prognosis: expensive The clutch is probably dead. I wouldn't be suprised if it has worn unevenly too given the way it sometimes dis/engages perfectly and others times refuses. Now just to pick a clutch .. oh, and spread wide Lucien.
  17. Have a look through his post history: he sounded like he was about 15. Someone telling off very respected members of this community is usually not a good sign Lucien.

    ramen

Ramen is a Japanese noodle dish, http://www.google.com.au/search?q=ramen Lucien.
  19. Until it breaks.
  20. Anyone got decent pictures of it? Lucien.
  21. Depending on how you pay transfers (between financial institutions) can take upwards of two to three working days (i.e. not including weekends). Payments made after 4PM generally don't enter the sytem until the next day. If you're really unlucky and deposit on a Friday, after 4PM, on a long weekend, it might not be till Thursday the next week that the payment shows. Anyway, an update of where we stand would be nice Lucien.
  22. Search has been whacky for a long time IMHO. Lucien.
  23. Gary, Does that GT-R handbook list the stats for the R34 N1 GT-R turbo? If it does, and you don't mind, can you post up all the dimensions? Just trying to compare to other options as per this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=80624 Cheers, Lucien.
  24. The discounts for having a good alarm are minimal: don't base your decision on the hopes of recouping costs based on the official discount. However, having a good (i.e. recognised by the insurer) alarm can be the difference between them offering you insurance or declining to quote. Lucien.
