  1. Suitable for R33 GTS-t or? Power Extreme 1 or 2? Lucien.
  2. Better off using a R34 MFD Lucien.
  3. Definately removing the turbos and manifolds and then reinstalling. Absolute freakin bitch of a job. Personally I think the front turbo is more annoying than the rear: front turbo+manifold fouls on the A/C compressor and when the front one is out of the way its easier to get a spanner on the rear turbo related nuts. Some of those manifold-to-head nuts are just insanely difficult to undo/tighten. Getting at the coolant plug on the block (from the bottom) is also right up there. Lucien.
  4. Good, exactly what I thought. Lucien.
  5. By all reports, Nissan would disagree with you. Lucien.
  6. What about for curcuits though: he said he wants it for drift, not rallies Lucien.
  7. Do they ping you for stamp duty ? Cheers, Lucien.
  8. As far as I know, yes, but R34 owners can probably comment. BTW, pump the brakes a couple of times when the battery is disconnected to speed up the process. Lucien.
  9. http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=101300 LW.
  10. Just drive it as you would normally. Lucien.
  11. Reset the stock ECU. Lucien.
  12. I'm not saying you didn't get a good deal, but do you really think the dealer made a loss? That's not how the auto industry works Lucien.
  13. Pipercross filters are good stuff: construction is very impressive, and cheaper the K&N to boot. If you want the ECU to "learn" your setup, just reset the ECU (search if you don't know how). Lucien.
  14. I'll bet the dealer made money on the sale LW.
  15. I would have thought its fairly obvious why you are paying more: because the dealer needs to make their cut. IIRC dealers are required to provide a 3 month warranty in Victoria, but check that. Usually they are pretty worthless anyway. Lucien.
  16. I doubt its a "standard". I would assume its just some logic that allows the ignition to run with the key removed without triggering the alarm/immobilser. But that's just a guess Lucien.
  17. Hi Mate, Sorry, I have no idea as I don't have a Mongoose alarm. Lucien.
  18. I seem to remember a thread with a couple of guys who had bad experiences with cars from the North (the name Mark seems to ring a bell for the supplier). Can't find the thread though Lucien.
  19. R32 GT-R... Lucien.
  20. If you're going to go NA, at least get the GT-X which has a few nice bits. GT-T autos are getting stupidly cheap: perhaps get a good auto and think about a conversion down the track when funds allow? Lucien.
  21. You won't have to pay stamp duty either if you're not registering it AFAIK. Lucien.
  22. In the original post, I said I was looking for the best offer between $100-120: for a quick sale I'd rather just $110 without the stuffing around. However, I've been offered $100 and if that's all I get by 10PM this evening, the lucky chap gets it. Lucien.
  23. Which would be against the forum rules.... Lucien.
