  1. Off the top of my head they were about $150 (if you mean the "weathershield"). Best to ring them. Lucien.
  2. I think we should just let the result do the talking rather than having lengthy theoretical discussions. SK is very busy at the moment, but I'm sure he will get around to this ASAP. Lucien.
  3. Feel free to make (reasonable) offers: I need it gone To the top. Lucien
  4. Be aware that Brent is not a fan of groupbuys. I speak from experience. Lucien.
  5. Certainly is And if you grab a script like dccAssist, and search with www.packetnews.com and www.ircspy.com, its dead simple too. Lucien.
  6. They should be fine but he also should be made aware of all the consequences if one of his turbos is getting a bit tired. 10-15 years of thousands and thousands of RPM takes its toll. Lucien.
  7. Bit of misinformation in this thread IMHO. There is a boost restrictor in one of the vacuum hoses. Yes, you can remove it and its unlikely to damage your engine. However, you may well manage to destroy a turbo or two given they have ceramic exhaust wheels and are probably getting on for 15-years old. Plus you can be unlucky and have bits of the exhaust wheel sucked back in to the engine which will then probably need a complete rebuild. Lucien.
  8. Meh. Go truely old sk00l: IRC (dcc) baby! Lucien.
  9. Don't take offence, but there is one of these threads posted about every week. Search and you will find more info on recommended oils than you could possibly want. Lucien.

  11. Well.. Went and spoke to Louie at Xclusive Colour. Nice enough guy. $300 to respray the front left guard and front bar. Oh, and whereis.com.au proves once again its totally useless. Might try and get a few more quotes tomorrow. Lucien.
  12. I noticed today there is one sitting at Edward Lee's on Parramatta Rd if anyone wants to go and have a look at one in the flesh. LW.
  13. Not having much luck contacting Xclusive on (02) 9631 5939 -- can someone confirm that's the right number? Cheers, Lucien.
  14. I can't find the post anywhere, but I distinctly remember a post by Troy with pictures of the busted gears. Maybe PM him. Lucien.
  15. pnblight: You mean the one that's in the R34 GT-R? I fairly sure Troy (ylwgtr2) managed to mangle his. Lucien.
  16. Yes, but it also means its sandboxed and crossplatform. I must say that despite it being written in Java, I haven't noticed it being unresponsive. I use to use ABC but got frustrated with its general instability and slow pace of development. Lucien.
  17. I use Azureus (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/): its not perfect, but its open source (so no nasties) and is constantly updated. Lucien.
  18. I hear the Iron Chefs do the catering. Lucien.
  19. Feel free to make (reasonable) offers: I need it gone To the top. Lucien
  20. So anyone found a decent aftermarket replacement? Topstage (www.topstage.com) seem to make a range of lips for other Nissans (judging by his posts on NissanSilvia), so maybe he could do something for the Skyrines? Lucien
  21. GT-Rs: the cars that never stop taking 1989 R32 GT-R Stock as a rock (only exception was a catback) ~$24k on the road. Lucien.
  22. Very nice: red looks tough but the rims look a bit out of place What mods? Lucien.
  23. Have you tired pricing these up Couple of hundred each for the genuines. LW.
  24. I have read in numerous places that Armourall can do more harm than good: if you don't keep replenishing the Armourall it actually promotes the cracking process as it dries out. Or so the theory goes... Lucien.
  25. Well we all know the R31 rear end is no good at keeping traction... and this just goes to show it Well done. Lucien.
