  1. According to whitepages there are two: Xclusive Colours 431a Great Western Hwy Wentworthville 2145 (02) 9631 5939 Xclusive Colours 79- 81 Larra St Yennora 2161 (02) 9681 2686 Duncan: Which is the one you recommend? Edit, for the record the others are:
  2. Interesting. I mean personally I don't think it would make a difference for me -- I'm currently doing my honours year for a B/A, and even if I didn't complete I would still graduate with a standard B/A -- just interested in the options. Modelling work, eh? Lucien.
  3. I'm more than aware of that, but frankly that's not all that different from some other countries (but perhaps more formal). So, we have english teaching or working in a bar..... nothing else? LW.
  4. Spotted an R34 GT-R (blue) in the IGA carpark in Newtown on Friday (or was it Saturday?). So much hawtness. LW.
  5. Try the suspension forum, since you're asking about.. .errr.. suspension LW.
  6. Its not that loud on my car. Just wind the windows down slightly and the exhaust muffles it LW
  7. Something I've always wondered is, are there any other opportunities for non-Japanese speaking people in Japan besides teaching english? Lucien.
  8. I'm getting a very distinct vibe about Vision from a few PMs, so I think I get the jist. Definately will not be going there. Thanks for all the info guys. Baby Jesus has a few less tears in his eyes today. Lucien.
  9. Definately is normal LW
  10. Consider just buying the OEM one. All of these aftermarket ones with their X or Y times greater strength are fine, but given you should be replacing the belt after the next 100,000KM I am not sure its worth it. I assume those a different types of gear oil for the box and diffs? Also think about the transfer case. Think about just running some coppers. Yes you have to change them more often, but for $2 per spark plug, who cares? I have never heard good things about flushing products. Your milage may vary. IMHO you are better off buying an extra 2L of engine oil, half drop the oil, top up and run it through, then drop the lot and refill. As per above. Consider completely removing the radiator and having it professionally flushed. I posted up a tutorial for that awhile ago. As others said, get something better. Motul DOT5.1 seems quite popular. Lucien.
  11. Do a search for posts by SydneyKid re: N1 water pumps. He has seen two fail. They were designed for curcuit racing, not stop/start traffic.
  12. Brake fluid... coolant.. whatever N1 water pump = bad idea. LW.
  13. Does it have a remote oil filter? If not, get a workshop to do the engine oil swap and filter swap as its a bit of a pig. All the other fluids are easy enough to replace, but set aside a fair whack of change as you should probably change: Front and rear diffs Gearbox Transfer case Powersteering Radiator coolant Brake coolant Clutch (if you can be bothered) Then there are all the consumables: brake pads, brake rotors, spark plugs (personally I'd get copper), etc. New air filter/pods is a good idea as most of the ones I have seen ex-Japan are filthy. Also look at changing your fuel filter and getting your injectors cleaned. There are more, but I have a headache and that's all that comes to mind at the moment Lucien.
  14. Wrong forum matey (you want complete cars, not car parts)
  15. Out of interest, can you get PFC Pro (R32 GT-R)? I'm probably down for a standard R32 GT-R PFC: will confirm shortly. Lucien.
  16. Is it my imagination or at they Rev. 1 HKS cam gears....? If so, I would keep a close eye on wear. LW.
  17. Nice cars. They still don't quite do it for me like the R-series do. Has anyone here actually driven one? LW.
  18. Right-o. Well, after a (retarded) trucky decided to turn in to my front fender a couple of days ago, its time to get the panel checked for straightness and the nasty scratch/es removed or baby jesus (me) will cry every time he sees his car. I thought I might also get a few chips/scratches removed at the same time. Might also see about a flowcoat. Anyway, that's a long way of asking for some recommendations. I did some searching and came across the following recommendations: Xclusive Colours - Tosh, Duncan Vision Auto Smash Repairs - Tosh, Carlo Sydney Central Panelbeaters - Richard MC Racing Group - 2GU UP Does anyone have any others, or experiences (good and bad) with the above that they care to share (even if only via PM)? Thanks guys, Baby Jesus (with tears).
  19. Good-o. Is there a cutoff date? Given I was late coming this probably sounds impatient, but I would like to get these ASAP LW.
  20. Ronin said turbo --> dump. I see no turbo --> dump gaskets in the trust set (unless they aren't photographed but still included). LW.
  21. mkc_1971: what brand and model boss did you buy? By the way, its illegal to fit an non-airbag wheel to an airbag equipped car (which 99% of R33s are AFAIK). Lucien.
  22. The stock ECU + dead O2 sensors = super rich running, so its not completely impossible. LW.
  23. You should always check the gapping on plugs. I bought -11 NGKs (i.e. 1.1 gap) and there were obvious differences across the six. LW.
