  1. My 0.02c is you should use a fuel that is commonly available as your base line. That should be 98 RON for most people on this board. There is no point having your car tuned for some sort of exotic fuel or using an octane booster only to be stuck in the middle of nowhere without access to the fuel or additive with the car pinging its arse off (of course, you could go in a mess with the tables). LW.
  2. Amen to that. God knows how many people have bought "N1s" to find out they are R32 N1s, or not even N1s at all LW.
  3. Yeah, they are looking at a "retread" as in not a direct remake, but reusing some of the material in the earlier films. LW.
  4. cowie165: problems? I love how people say things like just LW.
  5. Given the Falcon EL sensor doesn't physically fit I don't think its going to be a problem. Lucien.
  6. Do your prices fluctuate with the exchange rate (go the mighty AU dollar )? What's the current price on an R32 GT-R PFC? Finally, have you heard anything about sales taxes increasing in Japan in the new financial year? Lucien.
  7. You have PM. Lucien
  8. No flanges welded on: its still in its (dodgey) box and bubble wrap from Magic. My interest -- hence the question -- in the dyno test is more to see if the Catco also has no negative impacts on performance. Cheers, Lucien.
  9. What diameter are the flanges/exhaust on the test car out of interest? Still planning a dyno test? My plans have been a delayed a little, so if you need another Magic cat for testing I have one sitting on my floor Lucien.
  10. You're mates are wrong. The studio has signed the new batman actor (whose name escapes me at the moment) for another two batman movies. The director and actor have stated that they may retread the ground of the old films depending on how well recieved the current one is. There was an article about it in the SMH last week. So tell you're mates to shove it
  11. In relation to the GTI system linked earlier (and featured on the ABC's 'New Inventors'): a guy on another forum emailed the inventor to get more details about GTI systems for higher performance situations. Email response is below (most important part is bolded): Lucien.
  12. Just remember Katie Holmes is being banged by some 48 year old (i.e. Tom Cruise). Lucky him, filthy her (I'd still hit it ).
  13. I'm going to go and see it with my mother this weekend. No, seriously.
  14. You could always go the Jim Berry clutch route too... LW.
  15. Is this test only going to involve a change in manifold? From what Scooby was saying in an earlier post, he was going to change a number of other items at the same time which will make any comparison useless. LW.
  16. Well, Nissan might be able to get you some for an absolutely outrageous price: its worth asking just to hear the price Given these are an OEM item, and the R34 wasn't sold here, the best option is obviously to buy where they are most plentiful (i.e. Japan). They come up all the time on Yahoo Japan auctions, and there are a number of auction agents that can help you get them here. LW.
  17. Anywhere from $2-4k depending on condition, whether they have tyres (and what they are) and what agent and shipping method you use (assuming you buy from Japan). Roy: I'll have the one of the left, you can have the one on the right. LW.
  18. Arrr yes, I remember coming across some shop on YahooJP that does the indicator clearing, but I lost the link. Do you still have it? Edit: If you don't mind me asking, what was the cost for the clearing? LW.
  19. *cough* LW. PS. Nice sig SK
  20. Are you thinking what I'm think Beavis? Slip a little 'Octane Looser' in to the Evo's tank LW.
  21. Its definately $50 well spent (joining the club I mean). Even if the g/b falls through (which many do when it comes time to cough up the dough) you can still get a discount Do you often give people PMS? Lucien
  22. *cough* teh GT-R can nevar loooose! *cough* Just remember to crank the boost
  23. I *might* be interested. Need to check finances over the next couple of day. Lucien.
  24. Remember that Skyline Australia club members (well, in NSW at least and I assume other states) also get a discount from Whiteline.... depending on what Andrew is able to negotiate, it may prove easier to just join your state's club.
  25. Its possible. All the aftermarket dumps I have seen from major tuning houses allow for O2 sensors, so it would be unusual. LW.
