  1. And what about the front pipes? Any rust/holes? Cheers, Lucien.
  2. Interesting... which part of the piping was it? Cheers, Lucien.
  3. Spotted ARL-308 (or was it -380) on parramatta road near Sydney Uni. LW.
  4. I am still interested in the Field One Connector thingo, but would really like a close up pic (or three ) or a website link for some more info? Also, what condition is the front pipe in? LW.
  5. Could be an exhaust leak. Is it particularly noticeable when the car is stone cold? Does the sound start just as the turbo is spooling? Lucien.
  6. Troy: do you know if the signal output is the same for the 33/34s as the 32s? That is, is only the fitting different but not the operation of the actual sensor? Cheers, Lucien.
  7. I have not seen anything that indicates they provide a better spark, like-for-like, compared to a copper plug (but nor have I looked for such info really). Everyone I have spoken too says to get coppers for hi-po cars and just change them regularly. The benefit of iridiums is obviously the longer service intervals which, if you have a car where the plugs a PITA to get too -- and on some cars (Magnas I have heard, for instance) its a real bitch -- they make sense. I think there is also a certain amount of wank factor. Saying you have iridium or platnum or plugs sounds so much cooler than copper. LW.
  8. How much for the centre vent? What dump and front pipes does the car have? Lucien.
  9. Tell me about it: I have two EL sensors and nothing to put them in, plus I had the manifolds, turbos and dumps out of the car so it would have been easy to replace them I checked if there was some way to modify them to fit, and there doesn't appear to be. I can't comment on the fitment for R33/34 GT-Rs. It did cross my mind that perhaps the sensors are smaller because they are essentially only each getting half the flow from the engine, as opposed to have one dump where everything goes. Of course I might be talking complete bollocks Lucien.
  10. Most of the things you listed you are not allowed to modify without engineering. The only reason you get away with it is because they are hidden, or the cop doesn't care or know what they are looking for. With a big single its going to be high mount, which means it will be obvious as soon as the bonnet is popped. LW.
  11. I can confirm that the EL falcon O2 sensor does not fit R32 GT-R dump pipes. Lucien.
  12. Do you want the GT-R key, or is there some GTS-t specific key?
  13. Stop trying to crowd my style LW.
  14. I do one of my classes at USYD... does that make me an honourary USYD student LW.
  15. If you notice the location of the S and X keys on the keyboard, and the fact that SAF-SA doesn't exist, I think you can probably work out the rest LW.
  16. I am currently doing honours in Politics and Comparative Development (or "Development Studies" as they now call it). Lucien.
  17. LOL: where is your house, might need it in case of an emergency. Personally I just try and go in really early. I treat my self to a muffin from the Veg. store at Baddaggan (spelling?): damn they are addictive LW.
  18. Parking @ UNSW can be a PITA: the surrounding streets are mainly 1hour (with a little bit of 2 hour) parking, and are monitored like clockwork (probably because the council raises a tonne of revenue). There is the multistorey carpark, but that can be expensive. If you go in quite early sometimes you can get lucky and get the all day spots (Unless I have missed an obvious parking spot.... if so, say so ). LW.
  19. Mine arrived yesterday, thanks. I would be interested to see how and where people are mounting them Lucien
  20. QUOTE (>GoDziLLa<) I think the front pipe is KSP engineering from Japan as thats what the catback isstock dumps and i got that little piece of metal how are u supposed to take it off? A pic of the front pipe would be good if its not a hassle. With the little bit of metal you sort of slide it to one side then pry off the other end. How much do you want for it? Lucien.
  21. Could I get a little more info on the Field One connector? Do they have a website? Where exactly does it tap in to the loom (at the ECU I take it from your description)? Some close up shots would be great. Lucien.
  22. What brand/model is the front pipe? Are the dumps stock? Finally, I am after the tiny piece of metal at the top of the rear windscreen, in the middle where the rubber is... Lucien.
  23. Spotted TAK-5OF (gunmental grey R32 GT-R) on Parramatta Rd this evening. LW.
  24. I managed to loose the washer under the water line. Far out they are thin. Hopefully not too hard to replace  I think you meant this Transquip: http://www.transquip.com.au/ Edit: Given the extremely small space between the runners, wouldn't a longer/thinner ratchet, not a stubby, be more appropriate? LW.
