  1. Heh. Good luck. It was a bastard on mine. 15 year old silicon (and stacks of it) didn't want to give Lemme know how much you want for the rear ashtray. LW.
  2. Not sure on the rear windscreen moulding. Its a fscker to get off without damaging it so I might be better off just buying a new one (and being raped by Nissan) unless yours is already off and in good condition ... ? Lucien.
  3. Do you have this piece of plastic? It sits under the top of the bonnet (near the windscreen), under the wipers: Also after the centre console rear ashtray (don't smoke, just looks weird having a hole) Cheers, Lucien.
  4. One of these LW.
  5. That's because your query is too short. Searching for "r33" is silly anyway, because you'll get about a bizillion threads. Try something more specific in the future (eg. "r33 series changes") LW.
  6. I'm with Funkahhhh Its seriously not worth the effort unless you bring in something unique as a personal import. A JUN, Mines, HKS et al factory car would be top of the list but you will need some big khunas to pay for those. Oh, and you have to show 12 months ownership and use prior to import. LW.
  7. You also want something with a bit of compliance since our roads are generally pretty crappy. I think you'll find the gear recommended by SydneyKid will be a nice compromise between ride height and compliance, unlike some of the rock hard Japanese gear. LW.
  8. Yes. But unless you have some serious money, you are much better off buying the parts and having someone here build it. Japanese tuning houses with huge reputations charge huge prices LW.
  9. Nissan is just doing what every other car company (and most normal companies) do: not commenting on unannounced products. The speculation/hype is good for them from a marketing perspective anyway. LW.
  10. Including some excellent photos by Rezzah LW.
  11. Fark man, learn to use the edit button! Probably, but what have we got to prove? We generally know how fast our cars are. LW.
  12. I don't agree with that at all. Cheaply done modifications are likely to be just as damaging to the car -- if not more so -- than the stock setup. Japan is just like any other country: full of people looking to do things on the cheap. Just because Japan is home to HKS, Tomei, Mines, et al doesn't mean that your average Joe uses those workshops. And if they do, expect to pay for it with a high purchase price. LW.
  13. It actually looks like this (for the R32 rear windscreen): LW.
  14. GroundRun: Can you post back with details on how you go? darrinspencer: Yeah, its about $450 for an R32 GT-R rear windscreen moulding kit Where did you get it made up? LW.
  15. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=52040 Disclaimer: I have never used this person, nor do I have any idea what their work is like. LW.
  16. Thanks Paul: does it have any other marking on the packet/bottle? LW.
  17. Arrr, fair enough, my apologies. Lucien.
  18. Flush is an elastic term. It can either mean the use of flushing products -- which usually contain heavy detergents -- or it can simply mean a more thorough oil change. Rather than simply dropping the oil and replacing, some people "flush" by dropping part of the old oil, filling with new oil, dropping all the oil, refilling, etc. LW.
  19. Christ. How much do tyres cost him? LW.
  20. I reakon CES charges an arm and a leg. Have you considered the Trust/Greddy front extension pipes? http://www.trust-power.com/02greddy/extention_fp.html LW.
  21. This is slightly off-topic, but I hope the original poster doesn't mind. Are you aware of anyone that makes appropriate moulding for Skyline front and rear windscreens (in my case, an R32 GT-R)? Nissan wants a mint for originals... LW.
  22. Hmmm... the Prince keeps getting pushed back. First it was scheduled for the 12th, then the 15th, now the 17th. Wonder what the hold up is? LW.
  23. You would be better off asking in the right forum: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/fo...isplay.php?f=85 It depends entirely on the workshop -- how busy they are, if they need to source parts, etc, etc -- but somewhere around the two week mark seems to be about the norm. LW.
  24. TE-37s in Mercury Silver. LW.
