  1. Does the catch can have any baffling inside to aid atomisation? LW.
  2. I would also remove the wind/air deflector things. LW.

    GT-R Key

Well, there doesn't seem to be any difference in what the keys can be used for (ie. the FAST diagrams don't suggest the keys are for different types of locks). I imagine one is the normal/main key type (probably the NA) and the other is the spare key type. LW.

    GT-R Key

    Not personally. LW.

    GT-R Key

What does it look like? According to FAST there are three keys for the R32 series: And here are the part numbers: LW.
  6. You have PM. I am also after the piece of plastic where the windscreen meets the bonnet: the water vein thing. This might help to explain it better: AFAIK its the same for R32 GTS/-t and GT-Rs (anyone know different?) LW.
  7. See the search button? I suggest you start there LW.
  8. I have checked and that's what I need: the thin moulding that goes around the rear windscreen. Condition, pictures, price, blah.. ? Cheers, Lucien.
  9. If the police think its a stock item then your unlikely to get defected for it. Since the GT-Rs come with a FMIC, I wouldn't be suprised if the copper thought it was stock (or alternatively, didn't think to check and/or didn't have a clue). Personally I think you are best of getting all your mods done, then get them engineered in one hit (assuming, of course, they are legal and thus can be engineered ) LW.
  10. Some how I don't think people living in Japan are going to want to import from you LW.
  11. So when are you doing the manual conversion? Rid the world of auto Skylines LW.

    GT-R Key

I managed to find a picture that has the key and the part number in it: You can just make out the end as "00185" so KamikazeR33 was on the money LW.

    GT-R Key

Can anyone else confirm that part number? I have spoken to Troy @ Crows Nest Nissan and also checked FAST myself: it comes up with "KEY-BLANK;MASTR" but there is no picture to confirm its actually the same as the one in the first post. Another forum member also tried to use the above part number (to order the same key) with a different Nissan dealer and was told it wasn't the right one... Weird Lucien.
  14. Bump. LW.
  15. Not exactly a revelation I wouldn't have thought: any car buyer in the import game should be aware of these issues. Still, I guess its good to see dealers be upfront with customers. LW.
  16. If you getting them professionally sprayed -- and not just by a mate, etc -- I would suggest you contact some spray shops. Quite a few are unlikely to touch anything they haven't preped themselves in which case you will be paying for them to prep and paint, so you've wasted your time LW.
  17. For an engine, you can just as easily use an engine dyno. The point of running a car on the Nurburgring is to test it in a 'real world' environment. I would imagine they were testing the suspension and handling more than the engine. LW.
  18. You can read the proposals here, and submit comments (for those that didn't know): http://www.youngdrivers.com.au/ I suggest anyone who cares about this topic (regardless of your view) submits comments. Just make sure its not some "teh g0v su><0rs" type message because that will help no one. LW.
  19. THe HKS stuff is a rebadged version of something else (Castrol, Motul? Can't remember: do a search). Basically, its a rip LW.
  20. Angelfire doesn't allow direct linking. Copy the url, open a new browser window, and paste the url in. LW.
  21. All my vents are in tact, but a little warped from the pressure of the dash as it warped. What condition is it in? Do you have some pics? Cheers, Lucien.
  22. Something seems to have happened to the contents of my original post, so here goes again... I am after an R32 dash board, in as good condition as possible: no cracks, warps, air bubbles, etc. The dash on my car seems to have suffered from the couple of months of storage in Japan Preferably in Sydney, but depending of shipping costs, its not essential. Edit: Just to be clear, I am after a dash board, not the dash display Lucien.
  23. There has been a longish thread about them in the past: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=36583 LW.
  24. For R32 GT-Rs? They only supplier is D-speed, and they cost far too much IMHO. LW.
