  4. PLEASE DIG DEEP PEOPLE Torrential rain hit Queanbeyan in the early hours of Wednesday 8th December 2010. Victims were seen wandering around aimlessly, flannies soaked, woollen trackies sagging, muttering 'Faaackinell'. Flood waters devastated the area causing approximately $30 worth of damage, $10 of that at Karabar alone. Three areas of historic burnt out cars were disturbed. Many locals were woken well before their Centrelink cheques arrived. The Queanbeyan Age reported that hundreds of residents were confused and bewildered and were still trying to come to terms with the fact that something interesting had happened in Queanbeyan . One resident - Tracy Maree Sharon Britney Madonna Smith, a 15-year-old Mother of 5 said 'It was such a shock, my little daughter Chardonnay-Mercedes came running in to my bedroom crying. My youngest two Joachim and River slept through it all.' Apparently, looting, muggings and car crime were unaffected and carried on as normal with a 95.7 % saturation rate . The Australian Red Cross has so far managed to ship 4,000 crates of Bacardi-Breezers to the area to help the stricken locals particularly those at Jerrabomberra also known as Lower Tralee or East Machonachie. Rescue workers are still searching through the rubble and have found large quantities of personal belongings, including Health Care Cards, Jewellery from Kmart and Bone China from Big W. HOW CAN YOU HELP? This appeal is to raise money for food and clothing parcels for those unfortunate enough to be caught up in this disaster. Clothing is most sought after - items most needed include: flannelette Shirts, tight blue jeans or spandex, singlets (blue & white) white sport socks, Ugg boots and any other items usually sold in Priceline or The Reject Shop. Food parcels may be harder to come by, but are needed all the same. Required foodstuffs urgently needed include: Microwave meals, Baked Beans, Ice cream, Chips, Fizzy drinks. Donations of $15.00 will be taken to buy a packet of winny blue
  5. The only thing about inside cooking (unless lots of ventilation) is that if onion is wanted I may needs to leave because of stupid allergies.. Not planning on dying this weekend
  6. Ive checked five weather sites just now, one said sunny two says clearing showers and two says showers for Saturday... Fail at weather reading right there. And temps range 21,22,23. Like Troy said the weather will need to be looked at two days before or the day before.... We went to Griffith on the weekend and the morning before we left weather said thunderstorms all weekend yet it was 33 and sunny...

  9. Can we use please use this list because it is the one that has the people that aren't cruising in their own car as + 1 or + name where some of the others have the names on the list individually. That way we have an idea of how many cars we have coming Can we use please use this list because it is the one that has the people that aren't cruising in their own car as + 1 or + name where some of the others have the names on the list individually. That way we have an idea of how many cars we have coming Also, Zane and I went for a drive today and if it rains much this week the bbq areas won't be much fun, the Uriarra one was like a swamp so was casurina sands not to mention they both looked like they have been underwater. Also some parts of the road where there has been heavy rain has caused pot holes and caused the tarmac to lift and crack, also dirt and shite washed across the road.
  10. This is really trippy.... There are status updats on SAU *zomg*

If you saw the retard reversing a trailer into a townhouse complex that was me..... I didn't hit anything and its the second time ever I drove with a trailer and can't look out the back window because of a back condition so I did quite well all things considered...

  18. Pinky's running costs aren't too bad. (like Trozzle said) I get 400-450km per thank of fuel, oil & filter every 5000km, then Plugs occasionally. Did my 100,000km service which I got a kit for online and wasn't too expensive, replaced the stock radiator and replaced my front lower control arms because some retard that owned my car beforehand had the wrong bushes or something put in so there was too much pressure on them and they had cracked. (I don't know details Zane knows more about that bit then me I just went urrrrggghhh at having to replace something) Other than that her issues are just cosmetic. I was on trainee wages when I got her and could afford to run her, wasn't too bad and thats all that's gone wrong in 4 years. Oh and one new battery. I have full comp but I am a girl, and I am 22... I had full comp when I was 18 and got her it was about $2500-$3000 pa.
