Hi guys i am chasing a front bumper as i have a nice hole in my current one. Can someone please help me out with any advice as to what are the chances of getting one in perth without paying a arm and leg for one. Thanks guys , well the damage is not big but it is bad. A tow ball went straight through and right on the bend of the bumper. So can fix but expensive and also cant guarantee it will be perfect. I don't really want to go through insurance so prefer to pick up one second hand. If not then i guess its just aftermarket from ebay :-(

Hi guys have a 03 Silver V35. Chasing a Standard front bumper,had someone erverse into me and its not erally fixable as it was with a towbar. Well i live in Perth and would prefer it to be in perth however anway in Au is ok. Also what about full kits? doesnt keem to be anything available in Perth or really AU for that matter. Hey do you have any pics with the suspension on the car?? Just want to see how low they will make it. Also you had them on with your 20" rims correct? cause thats what i want to do if i get them from you. Did the guards sfrape much with the suspension? Cheers dude

Hey sorry guys dont have internet at home so i have to wait till i get into work. Well i guess ill only find out when my car gets here as to the work they have done over there. But i know i paid for new tyres so that should be one less thing to worry about. I guess ill just take my receipts down as well as a market value estimate from Redbook and which ever i get ill have to deal with. I think the issue was that the port that my car was at could not ship to Perth or there was going to be a very long delay till it would leave. And if i wanted it to be shipped to Perth then i would have to pay for relocating the car. So thats why it went to Brissy(i think). But i am new to the importing scene and im not too sure as to how things operate so everyday is a learning curve. Thanks again for all your help. Cheers

Hey sorry a bit of confusion. yeah the car was a import and because of some shipping issues the car had to go to Brissy for compliance. and then it is now being shipped to Perth. Now i want to know how they calculate the stamp duty amount. Is it on the FOB price or on the total cost which includes shipping and compliance as well? And thanks for your help so far

HI Guys sorry but i couldnt find any info through the search function regarding this topic. But i will be getting my 03 V35 within the next 2 weeks or so, it is arriving from Brissy. Now i have to take the car over the pits to get it on the road. I just want to know what sort of costs are going to be involved. Sorry guys but i have not imported a vehicle before. I know that normal we have a vehicle transfer form and we pay stap duty on the purchase price of the car. However how do i go about showing them the cost of my car in order to get the price of the stamp duty. Thanks in advance guys. :-)

HAHAH i like all your ways of thinking:-) I would love to drive from Bir to Melb and get to know her a bit more:-) but just not feasible with my work can barely get holidays. I really hope everything goes ok with my car hey i couldnt bare to see any scratches on her:-( But the plans for her as soon as she arrives is to put my 20" rims on before i go drivin:-) then drive her straing to the suspension shop to have the coilovers on then as low as she can go:-D.... Im hoping i can get Chris to have a play with her when she is over there in Brissy:-)

Hey Guys. Just a quick Hi. New to the Importing Scene so im sorry but il be hoping to get a lot of help from all of you:-) Just Got a 2003 V35GT 6 speed manual. Picked it up through Ben at J-spec. Thanks mate. Currently awaiting shipping which is on the 13th/12/08 departure Japan. I live in Perth and the car is going to Brissy for compliance and then will be trucked over here to Perth. Just had some issues with the paper work for shipping so had a bit of a delay. Plus that why it is going to Brissy. I was intrested to try and get the car's Tv sorted out i kow there has been a lot of discussion about what can and cant be done so ill first have a read before i ask anymore questions. But i know everyone hounds one user here for his services with the Audio so i guess ill have to join in:-P lol. Anyway i think i uploaded the pics correctly. Would like any help from anyone regarding Suspension. As i am currently looking into some 20' rims and as well some Coilovers. Thanks all. Let me know what you gusy think.
