  3. SAUSA Payment details Name: Skylines Australia - SA Chapter BSB: 105 192 ACC: 028822340 Edited by Madaz
  4. Maybe later. I feel that E85 is not suitable for running the engine in, plus I have a trip over to Victoria at the end of October for SAU Nationals, so I don't want to be dependant on E85, would like the flexibility and mileage of 98.
  5. Funny that I intend too, it's cost enough, so I plan on getting the most out of it.
  6. Good to hear, I have heard that repair work should begin tonight, or maybe tomorrow on your tunnel... In other news, my engine is now in the car, and all wired up...just waiting on the exhaust manifold to arrive back and it'll be all ready to go
  7. 28th September 2011 Engine is in the car, all wired up, and looking schmick. Could turn the key...but its missing oil and fuel....and still waiting on the exhaust manifold from the ceramic coaters. Once the manifold is back, on goes the turbo, and all the inter-cooler piping, etc. Then onto turning the key and the run-in process and tune...hopefully next week, it could be a anniversary of when the original engine blew up.
  8. 27th September 2011 Car was towed to the workshop yesterday, no real progress was done, just cleaning and finishing up things that needed doing. Called into HPIAB on my way to work today, so I could drop off some parts for the build and this is how the engine looked. Called in on my way back also, to see how the day went, and this is what I saw... ...ummmm, something is missing here Ahhhh, that's where it went. Morrie had been a busy little bee today, pulled the old engine out, swapped parts from the old to the new, and even cleaned the engine bay out. Sump is going on tonight, and should the engine should be going in the car tomorrow...not too much longer now
  9. As requested, removed from the list. 2 Spots free people.

  14. Spotted a whole heap of Stageas on South Road this morning going past the back of my place.
  15. This one isn't exactly a 2.7l, a little bit of extra work would have needed to be done. But from what I believe I have worked out, it works out to be 2600cc, so a "proper" 2.6L. A RB26 is 2568 cc, bore: 86.0 mm stroke: 73.7 mm My engine is 2600cc (I believe) Bore: 86.5mm Stroke: 73.7mm
  16. Because I am so cool...and I can, I'll do it for you.

  20. Monday 19th September Bit of progress was made today. ISC Exhaust Cam Gear and VCT Cam Gears were installed, Nitto Oil Pump was finally installed, Timing belt installed and tensioned, Half moon seals and Cam Covers were installed. It's really coming together now. After all this time, I have also just realized I need a R34 CAS as the Cams have a different key to my Old CAS....
