The transfer rate of IDE wont give you any decent performance with a SSD over the normal drive. But if you are keen on the SSD idea still, you could use an IDE to Compact Flash converter.

1 of my +1's has decided not to come along, so my +2 is back to +1.

Try moving the hose clamp tightening screw so it is at 90 degrees to the cradle back, ie opposite side to the "locking tab". I cant remember exactly, but i had a similar issue, and it was the screw that was stopping if from going in, rotate it till it fits.

Is it possible to add another +1 for me? So it'll then be +2.

Had a nice lol when leaving work today. Went outside, unlocked car, i then hear a v6/v8 letting loose down the road heading past where i am on marion road, the white falcon goes past...then 2 seconds later a cop cars goes past with the lights on. I leave work, and see the cop giving the guy a lecture. Good job on the cop ...oh and spotted a Silver R33 on marion road around 5:45pm - same time this happened.

Yeah, i could have saved myself about $200 by doing the work myself...but i wouldn't have trusted my workmanship in doing it. Sure it probably isn't that hard to do, just more time consuming then anything, plus he found the tie rod ends not installed correctly, and also replaced the hose clamps on my power steering to try and stop it from leaking.

Nice new Avatar Cara I got my car back today, was the manifold turbo gasket that had blown out, the bolts had stretched a little and exhaust began to escape, if i had tightened them up as soon as i heard it i wouldn't of had to replace the gaskets. So $280 later they are replaced with genuine nissan gaskets, and a bag with what was left of said old gaskets.

I didn't feel/hear anything....as i was asleep, which is what i would like to be doing right now.

I am really annoyed , i buy new tie rod ends, get a tyre place to install them when i have new rear tyres done for the track day. I then get an exhaust leak at the track, drop the car off today to get it checked out/fixed and get told the tie rod ends were not installed correctly . Luckily the tyre place is just round the corner from my mechanic, and i got him to call them about it, hopefully get them to fix it under some sort of warranty. ... i finished work in about 3hr 45min...HURRY UP, and then i have to work tomorrow

Really, i am pretty sure the Ale House as a big car park right next door - free parking. Parked there a few times, no issues.
