  2. Andrew Milne Engineering, can be found on Facebook.
  3. I got it from Ampl Audio in Seaford. The retail price is around $289 for the bulk pack, I paid less then that due to having mutual friends with the company. Also, I now have a OS Giken Twin Plate on the way, Thanks to Luke GTR
  4. A bit of an update of what I have been doing over the last month to the Car. 14th October Finished laying the Dynamat on the Cabin Floorpan, took me 2 weekends to do as I generally slept in till about midday. Was only a few small spots to fix up, as I had done the majority of it the weekend before. Since all that was done I decided to installed the replacement Heater Core I received from Ebay, I went with the Heavy Duty Copper Heater. I have also bought a R34 V-Spec 2 Aluminium Pedal Kit off of Ebay a few weeks ago also, which will be Installed once I put some new Carpet down. Continuing with the Ebay theme, I bought some Carbon-fibre End Caps from Hong Kong for the R33 GTR Wing, as they have no emblem, and they are Carbon-fibre, still waiting for them to Arrive. So onto some Pictures Pictures of the Flocked Dash (Currently in the car for Storage, nowhere else to put it) Picture of the V-Spec 2 Pedal Kit when it Arrived at work, was bought from Matzr on Ebay. Cabin Floorpan covered in about 36.5sq Feet of Dynamat
  5. Anyone heading there tonight? I am going to be there at about 6:15/6:30pm till I am bored, lol.
  6. Nope, car is off the road, and has been since July.
  7. I am thinking of heading down there this Friday after work, so about 6:15-6:30pm, anyone else thinking of heading down?
  8. I use a HKS Type R oil cooler kit I bought in Japan while I was there.
  9. The guy I went with charges $150 to cover just the dash, I wanted a few extra items covered so he charged me $50 extra for them, pictures of those items to come later
  10. 1st September 2012 Decided to clean up the interior of the car after I had ripped out the carpet the weekend before. Gave it a bit of a Vacuum, and then gave it a wipe over with Wax & Grease Remover. I'll be putting down some dynamat in the next few weeks. I also decided to install the airbag into the Steering wheel after it had been retrimmed to see what it looked like, Steering Wheel looks great even with the Airbag not being covered. 2nd Sunday September 2012 Picked up my Dash after it had been Flocked a few days before. The photo makes it look grey, but it is actually black. Other then that, didn't do too much, just bolted the airbag cover on the dash and the heating/cooling pipes.
  11. Also spotted a white R33 S2 heading out of Aldinga t about 1:30 with a female driver, and a Dark blue S15 with R34 GTR rims on Quinliven Road
  12. Spotted a silver stag going into the seaford car wash, and a R33 4 door with tow bar towing a small trailer at the seaford shopping centre car park
  13. They machined the Piston to Bore Clearance to 0.0040", so in other words 4 thou (4 thousandths of an inch). No worries
  14. Cheers, I hope if was and continues to be a good read. Not sure sorry, whatever standard CP-Carrillo make their pistons to. Cant remember off the top of my head sorry. I would have to look at the sheet I got from the Machinist, but I think it was around 0.20"...actually that sounds maybe a bit too large, I'll get back to you on that. UPDATE I picked my steering wheel up today, looks very nice. Also dropped my Dash and Centre Console off for Flocking as well, sound be back either on Sunday, or it up after work next Wednesday.
  15. Have been doing a bit of work over the last few weeks on the car, not too much as the weather has been bad, been working, or away on holiday - Sydney for the World Time Attack Challenge. But I have removed the Steering Wheel and sent that off to be re-trimmed, which has been done, need to pick it up. Also removed the Dash which I had a bit of an issues with, but seeing it in the day light help me to figure out the rest, the 2 A-Pillar clips were still holding it in. *derp* So that'll be sent off to be Flocked hopefully this week, and I have also ripped the carpet out to replace it like Jeremy (jez NF) did with his car "Night Fury". Of course I have taken out the Heater Core also...as that is one of the reasons the car is off the road at the moment. Pictures to come later
  16. I am currently in the process of removing my dash to replace the heater core, and have it flocked. So I thought I would also get the Glovebox Cover flocked to fit in also. However I didn't want to ruin the lock or the handle, as I want the handle to be carbon dipped at a later date. So i have written a bit of a guide on how to take the cover off. Tools Needed Philips Headscrew Driver Flat Head Screwdriver Heatgun (maybe) Hotglue, Epoxy, Superglue, or your choice of adhesive. 1. Remove the Glovebox from the dash, fairly simple to do. You'll then have this Glovebox Cover Flip it over and you'll see this 2. Remove the 2 screws with a Philips Head Screwdriver, otherwise you won't be able to separate the 2 half's. 3. Work your way around the sides with a Flat Head Screwdriver, you could use a heatgun to heat the plastic, I didn't and it worked fine, just made a bunch of popping noises as the bonds were broken. 4. You'll then be left with this 5. Remove the lock and handle, and send the cover off for recovering, flocking, whatever. 6. Assembly is done with everything done in reverse with the use of Epoxy, Superglue, whatever to rejoin the 2 half's I'll post pics of the assembly when I get to that stage.
  17. Just an update on this. I got the dash out today, it was being still held in by the pillar garnish tabs on either side. Drivers side came out fine, passenger has a bit more difficult. For people in the future, I suggest removing the steering wheel and the screws holding the indicator and wiper stalks in place, makes lifting it out easier. Also is a bit hard getting it over the airbag due to the heating/cooling pipe work attached to the dash just behind the airbag.
  18. Tried sending a PM this morning, unable to be sent, your inbox must be full.
  19. Cheers Brad, I'll see if I can take some better photos on the weekend. Edit: now I think about it, I think there are some sort of tabs from the pillars that could be stopping it, I'll try and remove the pillar trims. Also, is it at all possible to remove the airbag cover? Either by itself or with the airbag?
  20. Hello, I am in need of some help removing my R33 Series 2 Dash. I have searched SAU and their is nothing specific for the removal of the Series 2 dash with SRS, only the Series 1. I am removing the dash so I can replace the heater core, I am removing the whole dash so I can get it flocked all at the same time. I can currently rock the bottom of the dash, and a bit of the top but it feels like it is still secured somewhere. Please excuse my following poor photo and photoshop skills. The yellow and blue dots are bolts, screw and nuts that I have removed from the dash so far. The 2 blue dots are for the lower piping of the climate control, I removed that so I could get a better look at the Airbag. I managed to get a flat head screw driver and pop up the front of the Airbag panel, I then thought there may be more, so I ran it around the back (hence why it is not bent up) but I was wrong. I managed to see a "metal plate" where the red line is, and the 2 red dots are where the panel clips are. There is also 2 philips head screws holding the clips in place. I think if I remove those clips I could get to the Torx bolts holding the airbag in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I manage to get the dash out, I shall do a DIY with pictures so other people can find out how to do it also. Edit: Yes, the battery has been disconnected for over 1 month, so the Airbag hopefully won't deploy.
  21. Spotted a silver 4 door r34 on south road from seaford to doctors road this morning.
  22. Spotted a Silver R33 pulled over by a cop near Moana/Maslins about 7:30pm. From what I saw, the driver was none too impressed, I hope it wasn't for anything serious.
  23. I got a SMS from him around 1pm, I then tried ringing him and sent him a SMS when I saw this thread
  24. Standard size is 86mm, depending on the quality of the bores in the block you may be better off having it bored/honed and get new pistons to suit. That way you know all the tolerances are correct and the engine is good. The head design is slightly different with the NEO due to the emissions etc, so I think you are going to have issues using standard RB26 pistons. You can't just pull the lifters out of a NEO head and place them into a non NEO Head, there would have to be some machine work, and maybe a whole lot of messing around. really depends what your goal is, maybe be easier to go for some straight drop in cams. Also due to the different lifters, the RB25 Cams aren't suited for a NEO head (designed for hydraulic lifters, not solid) , so either won't work, or won't work very well. What turbo is it exactly, there are TONS of bolt on Garret turbo's, really all depends on what size it is. Have a look at my build thread, I have just done a Forged 2.6l RB25 Build, link in Signature.
  25. I'll grab the 60mm Gauge Pod Josh, pay you and pick up at the next Exec Meeting?
