  11. ok, well i might as well replace them all, as one of my "lower control arm" bushes has burst, has been like this for....awhile EDIT: Also, the bushes may be about 13 years old, so surely they have lost some of there rigidity/function.
  12. I am wanting to replace my suspension and steering bushes, especially since i want/am going to the SAUSA Track Day. Can anyone recommend what type of bushes to get and where from? Also what price am i looking at roughly? I was speaking to Shane the other day about this, and he suggested CarTorque. I am either wanting Nolathane or Whiteline bushes, depends on price and quality.

  18. As the modem/internet conversation wasn't wanted in The Wasteland... I don't mind Netgear, i still prefer a Billion over them, but if i had to choose between a Belkin and Netgear, i would choose the Netgear. The DG834 Series is quite good, havent had any bad experience with them at work, and also a decent price. D-Link and Netgear are the 2 other choices i would choose other then Billion, Netcomm and Belkin i tend to stay away from. A mate of mine has had awful experience with Belkin, it was always dropping out, overheating - So hot you couldn't even touch it. It would be fine for the first 1-3 months, then they started playing up, all of them replaced under warranty from Harvey Norman. He finally had enough and managed to get a refund, and bought a Billion, no issues what so ever. Wireless really depends on what version it is, ie. B/G/N. B is crappy and old G is better but is getting rather old in the tooth now, but does alright for a basic home network. N is where everything is heading, has better encryption, has a longer range and is designed to not have as much interference from Microwaves, Cordless Phones, Brick Walls and the Weather. G is mainly affected by Cordless phones and other wireless networks in the area, especially if they are on the same frequency. Wireless operates on the 2.4GHz band, but you can change the channel in the modem and help improve the signal, ie 2.40-2.49GHz. Other the repositioning the modem or the receiver, you can put a higher gain antenna onto either end..or both ends. Stock they come out with a 4db (i think) antenna, you can pick up a 10db antenna for around $30, this will improve signal dramatically.
  19. Do you have a home alarm system, or cable TV...how many phones you got connected to your phone line? As these can interfere with the ADSL. Every phone needs a filter, and then you can only use 3 filters, after which you need a central filter splitter. If you have a monitored home alarm system or cable TV you are going to need to ring them and organize to have a filter installed. I would also suggest getting rid of the Belkin ASAP, billion FTW, get a Billion 5200G ~$129, or better yet a 7300GRA ~$139, prices off the top of my head.
  20. /facepalm Enjoy your dropouts, overheating and failure.
  21. If it is a Billion modem, open IE/Firefox/Chrome. In the address bar type 192.168.1.254, you will be asked to log in, Username: admin, Password: admin. You shall now see the status page. All other modems will be similar, only differences being the IP address and maybe the log in details.
  22. I be working today and tomorrow now, and i have been invited to a bucks night tonight.
  23. Here is the HPI Article on the RB24 build.
  24. The older you get, your insurance gets a little cheaper, more places will insure you...it should be the other way round. It should get more expensive and harder to get insurance because you are more likely to do something stupid like that. /end tipsy rant.
