  1. I am fine with it.
  2. I am slowly getting there with the pump. I finally stuck my whole arm in there and managed to get the pump into position, that was with out hose clamping it to the cradle. I have now hose clamped it, cut the tail off...just waiting for it to stop raining, while having lunch. Also, petrol melts the sound deadening in the Tyre well.
  3. ????
  4. I have now cut the "C" clip off the bracket...bad move, i must say. I have mounted the pump as in Pic 3...no good, cant get it down into the tank correctly. I have test fitted the pump as in Pic 2...still no good. With Pic 1, it would be impossible to connect the pump to the stock fuel rail on the cradle, as the nipple would be above it. The only way around it would be to run fuel line from the pump straight to the top of the tank. I have also tried just having the pump attached to the cradle with just fuel pipe...still didn't like it. ...and now since i have cut off the "C" clip at the base i cannot get the stock pump back on as the hose clamp i have is slightly too big...it doesn't go that small.
  5. Could i have a little help please fellas. I am trying to do my pump again, and i am stuck as where to mount it. Could you tell me from the following pictures, which way i need to mount it. 1 2 3 Last week when i tried, i tried doing in the same way as the third picture shows. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as my car is my daily, and i have work tomz.

  7. *Goes and does a translation of what Dohmar wrote*....appears not.
  8. and i come with Orbital Frames ...too far?
  9. 20 Tage am Kühlräume
  10. I reported some stupid person i saw the other week in the rain. I have seen countless stupid people in the last few weeks at one certain stretch of road. In Aldinga, there are 2 roads going in and out, they have blocked 1 off to do road works, so the other one has had the speed limit reduced so people can get onto the road. I see people doing more then the speed limit, in the wrong lane, and the people merging into the lane almost getting wiped out by these stupid people...mostly Commodores and Kia's.
  11. Looks exactly the same as it did last week to me. Lol Domah, i got pissed off the other day at a 4wd...took up 2 parking bays to have a cigarette out the back of work....i had to park my car all the way down the end of the car park.
  12. Saw a Orange 370z (i think) around the Noarlunga area, at about 5:40 pm.
  13. I got a set through one of the traders here, for my RB25DET. Sullivan A He only has the RB ones listed, if you PM him, he may be able to get SR ones in.
  14. It isnt, you need to modify the cradle...but i think i know what to do now. I did look at the guide, it helped me a bit.
  15. I am speaking to Luke_ENR about it, which seems to be clearing it up a bit for me. I get the 040 in the cradle, but it doesn't go back into the tank. I now have a theory that the end/base of the 040, needs to be in the same position as the OEM pump. I was mounting the 040 a little bit further down, where the "C" bit of the cradle is, was where is was putting the line on the 040. the "C" bit, holds the OEM to the cradle as it has the pickup go through it.
  16. Seems to be for me
  17. Anyone want to help me install a Bosch 040 fuel pump in my car on Thursday?
  18. Sounds like a plan, i myself was thinking earlier, about 12 or 1, but whatever. I am coming back Sunday arvo, hanging around for the cruise. I only ask about going as a group, as i am having some "work" done to my car soon (2-4 weeks) and am not too sure how reliable it is going to be.
  19. Do you mean MS Paint & Panel? If so, his work is pretty good, and reasonably priced too. He did some work on my commodore, when i had it. I now go through a mates neighbor, who is a crash repairer by trade at Marion. Hmm, reminds me, i need to go see him again about some touch-ups.
  20. I know, you said in your pm, but you wont be with the SAU Display. I live down south - Aldinga, and am willing to drive up north to meet with people to drive as a group...be more fun, bit of a mini cruise Thats good to hear about our entry forms...Thanks Cara . I am bringing my Vilis tag-along with me, Tim (Fliggy), so he is my co-pilot, and i have a GPS too...so that is my navigator. I just thought of the radios incase someone breaks down - they arent left alone, or if someone needs to pull off for a rest/fuel etc. I too am taking Friday off to head up there, not sure what time i am leaving yet, depends if anyone wants to meet up and go together.
  21. Good Job Dohmar It is a shame that Cara won't be joining us, as she got it organized. I have booked a room/apartment for myself and my mate, it has off the street parking. I also booked a room for Krishy inside the Hotel. I am heading up the Friday and staying the 2 nights, coming back the Sunday arvo. I too would be interested in a BBQ, and as for the radio, i don't really care. Just wondering about the drive up, all the people heading up the Friday, do you want to meet up somewhere and go together? If so, do you want to get some Walkie-Talkie's so we can have convo's/spam music to each other on the drive up? If anyone is interested, i will talk to my mates at Strathfield and see what, if any, deal they can do for me. Cara has organized my entry forms and payment. Instead of sending you a pm, i shall say here. English Breakfast for myself and my mate, and i shall have my car detailed on the outside please.
  22. I am interested, may have a tag along with me too.
  23. If it was Today (Sunday) that you saw the cars, did you like how we parked
  24. Likewise . The solid red cable is Positive (+), the red cable with line (grey/green, cant remember) is Negative (-).
