Hi guys, i was replacing the hicas with a lock bar, i managed to pull off the rhs side of the tie rod. But than the other side was a pain! its stuck inside the hicas unit, the tie rod wont budge at all, almost like they put thread locker on it, is it seized inside the threads? i undid the tie rod ends by leaving the hicas still bolted up to the car, makes it easier, but after hours of swearing i took off the unit an called it a day Kinda feel like cutting up the hicas unit just to free up the tie rod lol

Hi guys quick one, my rubber intake feels like jelly, guess thats what 20 years of heat and cold does to rubber lol, what is the size of the standard rb25 turbo intake?, as im wanting to customize my own metal intake as i plan on running a high flow std turbo, im not sure on the actual sizing for the silicone to slip on :S Picture for references, cheers

Hi guys quick question, would the series 2 aftermarket bumper fit fine on the series 1? Couldn't find a definite answer searching... Fitment wise, would it still fit or suit the roundness of the s1 lights? I found a S2 aftermarket bumper bar, since my S1 oem bumper is cracked, an its reasonable priced so figured it might fit but best to ask on here before committing Im not doing a S2 swap, just wanting to know if a S2 bumper will fit S1 with S1 lights and fitment still b fine cheers

Hey guys doing some maintenance over the weekend since i picked up my first skyline and couldnt help noticed how loud the fan was, it seems it roars too loud, loud enough not to hear the engine... its worse when standing outside, u cant even hear the engine or exhaust, embarrassing lol I was told that its possible the viscous fan is stuffed, so i ask on your opinion here Now im aware they are suppose to be loud but only on start up when the viscous fan fluids are cold, but mine seems to be stuck on all the time, which makes me wonder is the viscous fan stuffed? I have some understanding of viscous fans, but ive always had electric fans on my other vehicles, so this mechanical fan is some what new to me haha cheers

As titled, my cluster rpm has problems so tryna rectify the problem with a diy, but at same time find a replacement if all else fails... Not too fuss on kms As long as the rpm tach works lol.. cheers Contact: 0412605889

As titled, my recent ride got written off, and didnt get much pay out sooo kinda on a tight budget here... After a reasonably good R33 gts-t, Series 1 or 2 dont matter really as long as it fits within the budget i guess Budget is around 5.5 - 6.5k with some sort of rego and possible rwc as well Kms not really fussed as its gonna be a daily to work and back and a play car on weekends I dont expect a clean off the shelf example, so long as it can pass rwc and paint is in reasonable condition for a 20 year old vehicle Contact: PM or 0412605889 cheers guys

Aint F22c still new though??? The current crop (2006 onwards) S2000 run them...Your best bet, importing a halfcut S2000, from japan, or North America. Whats wrong with current F20C motor, they rev much harder, all the way to 9000RPM, whereas 2.2lt limits at 8000RPM, no fun.

Is it me or are all 4DR variants tiptronics? Finding one in manual is impossible, so did they actually come out in a manual 5sp form because all the ones in looking at are tiptronic? , or are they indeed converted to a manual? Im only looking at Non Turbo RB25de Neo vehicles.

Things havent cracked lately for me, with so many P-plate restriction, im forced to sell up turbo brethern, so now im looking for a nice newer ride, preferably a nice and tidy R34 GTS 4 Dr manual, only prob is that there aint any manual 4DR GTS floating around, and considering im new to skyline scene, any input is welcome. Some things i wanna clear up is fuel eco, atm my 180sx gets a very good 10lt to 100km, normal driving, so how would R34 GT-S Neo RB25 stack up? Also being an import, i suspect running 95RON would still be very limit and 98RON all times? Another point is as majority are in indeed tiptronic, how are they compared to standardised auto slush boxes? i know Silvia S15 auto are dreadful to drive when cold, its like being shot in the back when shifting into 1st and 2nd gears when cold.

With recent times (years 2002 onwards), would it be fair to assume that the ADM models will be just as powerful as JDM, factoring in thier higher fuel octanes ect..? I know that with the last crop of imports by Nissan Aust, eg 200sx, they have always been detuned for various reason, redering them less potent than the cars that are in the same price bracket. As most will know, the GTR all will have same power output reguardless of country being sold at, but will this apply to all Nissans globally?

In terms of daily use, how do these stack up to Stageas and Caldina GTT? And in terms of your general service? Recently in HPI magazine, they stated that changing minor things for legnum, spark plugs was a really prob, as you had to remove alot of the cross over plumbing. One more thing, are these legnums more thirsty than the other 2 compititors, Caldina and Stagea? I know Mits has a thing for making thirsty cars, like EVO series.

Hey all, just want to intro myself, to skyline world. Currently my ride is a Standard Nissan 180sx Type X (1996), though i am looking to buy a skyline once i get rid of this 180sx. I'm from Vic in Northern suburbs, and currently finished V.C.E YAY!!! I'M hoping to get in on all the Vic Motor sports action once I'm settled down after the new year. I'm a very big Skyline person, don't ask why i choose the 180sx, i was kinda lost at the time, but i have worked on them, My brother used to own one, it was a S1 R33 GTS25T, 1993 model i believe, so i have some general knowledge of the skyline brute. I hope to live, learn and breathe this forum once i'm comforted, peace out.
