  1. Hi Mate, would you be willing to ship the AFM to ireland? I'd cover the shipping costs etc... how many miles on it and what's the condition?
  2. anyone know anywhere on-line you can get those adapters for the R32 - the two pin into one?

These are the pics of her, still in Japan that convinced me to buy
  6. what's the craic with fitting a GTR pump to a GTSt? i mean fitting-wise and fuelling-wise?
  7. yeah, you're right - but this is kinda the excuse I'm using to get myself a better turbo if I take the old one off and it's fine, i'm not going to be too annoyed if you know what i mean...
  8. may have found a guy in england seling an RB25det with turbo at reasonable money (with 75k miles on it) do you think I should just get that instead?
  9. Hi all... I was driving home from the flicks earlier and my turbo started whining when it spun up past about 6 psi... so I'm figuring she's knackered? I was on to a crowd before in England (cos there's nobody here in Ireland worth talking to as far as I know) and they said they can't recon the OEM unit. That leaves me with buying a new one or a reconditioned unit. Will a Garrett T3 bolt straight on? there's plenty of them kicking around here because they came on Cossies so the lads in England know them well. Or.. am I better off getting a second hand one from a breaker in Australia and reconditioning it? Anybody got any recommendations about what to get considering I don't want to spend eleventy on one, the car is mildly modded (Apex intake, Dual N1 exhaust, Trust FMIC) so I don't need a truck turbo I'd really appreciate any help guys!
  10. Yeah, i know - but if you were only to use it occasionally like, about 10% mixture? maybe I should just get some Toluene....
  11. That's the point we're making though? nobody wants knock, we want to be able to advance the timing a bit and run more boost without worrying about putting a hole in the top of a piston... i agree though, that the best thing is to just run the best fuel you can find and then maybe throw some booster into that, rather than running 95 octane and a ball of booster to try compensate. What about methanol? what's the difference between using toluene and methanol?
  12. Can you just add the toulene to your regular fuel? it doesn't do any damage to seals or anything like that???
  13. hi, can anyone tell me what else the 4 - pot calipers on the front of my car were in? I'm going to need a set of pads for the front in a couple thou KMs and I was wondering if the S14 and S15 200SX is the same? what about the American 240SX? cheers...
  14. I finally got the springs in - 275lb front and 200 rear, it's 10 times better. It's still stiff but it's driveable now, even or the rouger roads - thanks for the help guys...
  15. just got a reply off a crowd over here and they say thay can't recondition them because they can't get the parts and they haven't been able to copy them. Ah well... I'll have to just buy a bigger better one
  16. when I was buying my car, I saw it had coilovers and I was delighted cos they're cool etc but when i started driving it, I changed my mind pretty *****ing quickly :freak:, they're fine on the new motorways and all but over here the rest of the roads are junk and i have an average of 2.74 tyres on the road at any given time... rock solid. Given the choice now, I'd go for standard set up, good shocks and springs....
  17. It's the same thing isn't it? pinging, detonation, knocking, pinking, pre-ignition...
  18. Yeah, i read somewhere ( probably a thread here ) that Nissan didn't make a turbo'd R33 GTS4 because they thought people might buy it instead of a GTR and they did want the cars to be that similar?
  19. LOL yeah, i think that the badge has more to do with that than the colour
  20. is that the same thing as this? T.M. Works Powered Earth Cable Basically you're just earthing all the ancilliaries and the block again with very low resistance cables? I don't doubt the car would run a bit better and start better when it's warm or whatever but give it 4 more rwkw, that's pretty sweet. The position of those straps sounds good, just the one on the starter transmission and you're laughing
