not many people knew what it was when i rang around either !! only a handful. also get a line bore/hone, very important with a long 6cyl crank !!!

block/bores can deform due to stress on the threads from headstuds and even bolts. its alot of tension. so they bore with a dummy head to keep it round when the real head goes bak on. some workshops wont even release an engine without this being done. nb joblo.

make sure u get a torque plate bore and hone even if u are using std head bolts. extremely important.

thats way too much oil aswell. while the engine is out use a 1.5mm restrictor and block the other off. what oil pump, n1 ?

r34 gtt are f**ken heavy. i dont think a falcon would be all that much heavier. with stock suspension falcons are hairy, add sway bars coilovers nolothane etc and u have an awesome car that can do everything reasonably well. even the utes with the solid rear end. my mate has all of the above and more on his f6 ute and that thing does not feel heavy at all. hugs the road like u would not believe. my ute handles poorly with lower springs and std shocks very dancy at speed. the 2wd 3rz hilux handle awesome bcos they are light and have hard springs i could do 180 in that thing and was sooo stable, fun car.

xr6t are so easy to get to 400rwk its silly. 11mm lift cams stock, nuff said. awesome.
