  1. lol, i think they will be a lot cheaper than that.
  2. im not familiar with gcg and how they operate. if they done the install, then they should replace it. but if u or someone else stuffed it then go figure. i think a re - conditioned turb is around $1200.
  3. i would definately be pulling my dump pipe off, and inspecting the turbine wheel.
  4. the nipple on your actuator is not supposed 2 go to the plenum i dont think ..... your bov nipple should be going to the plenum, and actuator to the comp cover nipple. do u have a b/c ?
  5. yes, would be good 2 know what manifold u are using.
  6. stock xr6t injectors are 29lb and way 2 small. i was under the impression that stock gtr injectors were 42lb ? (r34 anyway)

  9. just remove the resonator near the cat. all u need is 1 straight thru muffler at the end.

  11. 1. u obviously pushed the tuner 2 tune it because u took it bak a second time with the same symptoms as b4, even with the squirters etc replaced. u knew there was something majorly wrong, and should have been asking 4 rebuild NOT a tune. that does not fix a broken eng. sounds like you wanted it 2 blow up on the dyno so u could get a free eng ..... 2. the tuner did not blow it up, u did. u drove it home didn't u ? the prob was the same as BEFORE u went there, but got worse the more u drove it. just like what would have happened if you never went to this workshop anyway. the same (b4 and after tuner) components will need 2 be replaced anway. once again good luck with the new engine.
  12. he lowered ur hp level and ur afrs. it is an absolute miracle it did not blow b4 u got it 2 him !! read the rest of the thread, and what i posted 1st up. fullstop.
  13. i think the tuner has done a great job, and definately prolonged its life considering the afrs were at 14 !! all the best with the new engine mate, im sure it will be awesome !!
  14. that is a tough one mate. you play you pay tho, there are never any guarentees with performance vehicles. i guess if the bearing was on the way out, maybe his safer tune actually will prolong the life of it ?
  15. geez i dont know about that hey, reguardless i would prefer the gtr eng.
  16. the ls 1 is a great eng and i like v8s, but the rb is without a doubt one of the best engineered engines in the world. also its weight implements the car beautifully. a v8 eng would be pretty damn heavy.
