sounds normal mate. your oil pressure follows your rpm, so if your rpm drops right down, ie and its about to stall, then your oil pressure will drop. you need to find out why its stalling.
serious ? are 270 that bad ? im pretty sure ive seen a few gt35 setups with hi lift 270's limited to 8k. ive also been in a t04z powered rb26 with 10.5 270's and was limited to 8.5k. made over 600hp at all 4's.
well my oil pump failed at 397awhp, no idea why. seans car is stock but with a billet pump and crank collar. that gmastr 32 which is tuned at jem makes 400kw now, totally stock with the narrow drive .....
baahaha, so what - when it rains pull over to the side and put the blocking plate on ? and how are the channels going to stop the water getting in at an angle ? if the car is a daily get an appropriate bonnet or leave it stock, simple.
the re-enforcement under the vent actually guides most of the water to the front, and out the drain holes. the vent is between t/c and rad and definately lowered temps. and yes i know z tune have nothing under. i saw c/f bonnets somewhere once that had the vents like the blits but cant remember where. if u are worried about rain on a hot motor then get a bonnet with vents placed accordingly.
k so im using torco oil. 20w50 sr1. its apparently awesome stuff, on par with motul and big in the motorbikes. my engine builder swears by it and so does my tuner. torcousa.com. after changing from a run in oil to this i noticed a more stable idle and definately more power.
