Hi all, According to the maintenace forum I have some issue with my coil packs??? It looks like i need to replace with new splitfire coil packs? Just wondering if people can confirm this before i go out and spend an odd 600 bucks. and also are these easy to replace? or shuld i get a mechanic to do it? sorry about so many questions just need some good advice. Thanks for the reply, that is very interesting, i only just got the car like 2 weeks ago, lol Splitfire coils R34 GTT not so cheap, but if it fixes the problem then good. can anyone back this up??? Thanks guys

Hi all, I have notice a couple of times now that when i initally take the car out sometimes while ur driving for a few minutes, the "TCS OFF", "SLIP" and "Engine" lights come on and stay on? It only happens from cold start. i dont even push it hard cos its still cold, i found turning the car off for a few minutes then turnin it back on it disappears? and someone shed some light on this maybe... Thanks guys

Hey Rekin, It looks like they never ever seen or make a r34 dashboard mat, according to the guy from Autoworx, eventhough it says "Dash Mats R32 R33 R34 SAU Price $50 RRP $69" on the link.

Interesting... Getting mix reaction from all. Turbotimer is a wank factor? really? I thought it was meant to help reduce the damage and wear out of the turbo. As you probably read everywhere the purpose of the engine idling after parking is to keep the oil lubricating thru, so the turbo doesnt wearout due to extreme heat. lol thats off the top of my head from memory but I culd b totally wrong, thats my assumption anyways, as i am new to all this, i am taking all advice onboard. thanks

Oh another question can a kill switch work with turbo timer? sorry all newbie to all this... thnk peepz As the engine is still idling due to the turbo timer you cant flick the kill sw on then thats my thinking? can someone tell me others?

Yes have to agree that bonnet shot is awesome could stare at it all day,lol. nothing better than a nice fresh coat of paint. will b good once its on the road.

Hi all, I am currently looking around for a stock R34 GTT manual turbo, I recently found one with very very low K's on the clock for a '98 model it had only 54,000 kms on it. I need to know if I should be worried about it having such low mileage. Is there anyway I can check if this is for real? obviously before I buy it Im going to get state roads to do a inspection, I had them to a r34 last week, they do a great job those guys. Also to add the car isnt registered yet in australia, I wonder if registeration of an import is easy and how much am i looking to have it on the road. Advice for newbie skyliner wuld b great, thanks SAU members.
