  2. NGK all the way, i use r5671A-8 which is a not protruded plug.My rb20 makes 299rwkw on 1.5bar(20lbs)i keep the gap they come out of the box .8mm an no problems. Ialso used the same plugs in my hk ute with a blown 400 sbc an that made 727rwhp.On the part number for the plugs r5671a-8 the -8 is the heat range

  4. Hey guys i hav buddy 1 coilovers in my 32 an i want to lower the rear about 1 1/2'' now the springs are as low as they can go.Not sure what springs they are or rate but they are blue with 8 coils,so would i go to a 10 coil or so ? an where is the best place to get these? im in Brissy..thanks

This is heat soak underbonnet temps get f*kn hot as in a skyline.You could try raising the rear of ya bonnet, undo the bolts an put about 5 -8 washers inbetween the bonnet an hinge an also remove the rubber strip that seals the bonnet on the bak firewall its held in place by clips so just use pointy nose pliers to pull them out.

Laying over means loosing power or stops making power,an for deep end yeah after 1/2 track on ya twins take off ya pod filters an get 2 peices silicon hoses an block them wherever you can then you will be able to do this test.This will show any vac leaks which is costing you boost an power.If your engine is mapped for a certain boost setting an the engine is not seeing that desired boost you possibly will foul up ya plugs.As for your noise ya hearing it sounds a definate boost leak.let me no how you go..

Its laying over in the deep end,on a working set up your mph should be around 25mph frm half track.do my boost test leak i told you.Its possible you loosing boost an when your shifting its taking to long to regain boost.Did you watch boost gauge frm pass to pass an did it vary? i had the same problem i run 1.5 bar an make 402rwhp on a rb20 an only went 108mph,watching gauge only go almost 1 bar an took to long for boost to recover hense low mph.Did my test an had a massive crack in my silicon elbow coming off the turbo,it burnt through frm heat on exhaust manifold.

BOOST LEAK TEST- take off air inlet,use your silicon hose joiner that goes on the front of the turbo an put a block in it.(i use a can of bog thats the same size)now take off a vacume line-i use fuel pressure line off intake manifold,use a compressor with an small hand air blower ,slide the vac line over the end of the air blower an fill the engine with air, this will show up all the leaks you will hear the air coming out.dont need to much air.It takes a matter of 5 mins.

Mate i had the same problem when i brought my 32 it was pretty good through all gears but would crunch into 5th, so i drained all the oil an put in redline lightweight shockproof oil, this oil really grabs onto the syncros after about 50 or so k's it came good, box now feels an sounds new nice smooth changes. This was rb20. Not cheap oil but awesome

I had a setup on a small block with a centrifigal blower an blow thru carb set up, now i would prestage after burnout , purge co2 onto the cooler for about 5-10 sec then had it turn on via a micro switch that was mounted under the pedal.This would only turn on the kit at full throttle, either way i could adjust it (earlier or later). Never could log intake temps an it was carby. As for WMI i made an extra 85rwhp on my skyline an that turns on via a hobbs switch an 6.5#.
  15. No better tuner than pete frm PRO TORQUE ive got a 32 went in with 250rwhp an we ended up with 402rwhp. He knows what his doin with the power fc's well any ecu... he's at pimpama just off the highway near SS INDUCTIONS. totally recomend this guy
  16. Hey just got back frm dyno yest an made 402rwhp/299.7kw@tyres at 20psi in my rb20 32 Mods consist gt35r .63 cheap top mount manifold 700cc inj sard fuel reg 3 1/2'' exhaust walbro fuel pump wolf 3d an controller water/meth intercooler
  17. Spoke to ray hall an he suggested i replace the .82 rear to a .63 to bring on boost earlier. Put this on then get a tune an see how it goes...

  19. NYTSKY mate i was thinking along the lines of a gt30 when do they start to make boost?a lot of people on here seem to be using hks GT 2530. Mlr mate with the cam gears what sort of rpm do u think this would lower the boost range by? thanks

Hey guys i just brought my first r32 gts-t i was wondering which turbo would be my best choice. it already has a gt35r on it an its a laggy as f*k it starts to make boost around 4300 an full boost around 4600.car has wolf3d, larger unkown injectors sard fuel reg.custom turbo manifold with external gate etc etc.After around 200-230kw.what would be an ideal turbo that makes boost around 3000? any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
