  2. 1989 S13 Silvia RB20DET - Rebuild 5500km's ago, all receipts can be shown. Garret 25/40 Turbo 400hp - Brand New done 5500 550cc Injectors - Series 5 Rx7 Microtech LT8 ECU GAB Height Adj Coilovers on rear, gab shocks on front Supra 2L FMIC Full 3inch exhaust 4inch pod filter / intake. - Car comes with additional stock frontbar, additional gearbox Car is currently making 160rwkw's on 12psi. Reason for sale - Need a deposit for a property among other things. Car runs extremely well, so it should for a new engine, handles very nicely and would go a lot better down south with cooler air temps and better availbility of tuners. Asking 14,500.   9. From what i heard the turnout was poor, and only 2 cars went in for drifting.
  10. std psi is about 7 i think, get around 120-140... i was putting out 155 at the wheels on 10psi with a semi melted number 6 piston ... btw.. DONT BUY PARTS FROM NISSAN OZ.. seriously..they are ****ing me around, might be waiting another 3 months for my pistons... going forgies now.. hopefully.. will be finding out monday.

  16. I recently purchased the 400hp version of the gt28. You need an adapter plate made up to go to the t3 flange, and you also need to bear in mind your standard dump pipe wont fit as its a 6 bolt pattern and the garret is 5. But Morrie from hpinabox has been so bloody helpful to me, I'd recommend him to anyone. Knows what he is doing, and the adapter plate is very well made. Haven't been able to test the turbo, as engine is being rebuilt atm, but yes it has a 4" bellmouth inlet. And also bear in the mind the wastegate spring is rated at 11.8 pound.

Check up on the www.nissansilvia.com website.. but as it may be possible to buy one for that price in Japan, then you have to pay all the on road costs etc, and will end up costing you a bit more. If i were you, i would save and buy a silvia in aust for about 7-10 which is already complianced etc.
  19. Hrmm apparently Aria, and Wyseco dont make pistons for rb20's....is this correct or not? Can someone please suggest where i may find some... besides the TOMEI forged pistons.
  20. Have a question relating to engine rebuilds... Currently my rb20 is getting the whole thing done, and im about 90% certain installing forged pistons, what i want to know is, because money is an issue i can only afford forged pistons, not getting the rods shot peened etc... Is it still a worthwhile mod? Just a little bit of background... Live up in darwin, average temp of 32 degrees, 18-24 at night. I'll be running 12-14psi through it, with a garret gt28 rated at 400hp with a microtech ecu. FMIC etc...
  21. Man that really sucks, nothing you can do about it either really... One of my mechanics customers put in his 6.8L chev powered landcruiser to get new tyres i think, and when he got it back, his 1st, 2nd, 3rd synchros were destroyed and the clutch non existent... they said it was like that when they received it.... With my silvia and the microtech, i have, well lost it now cause of stupid battery. But will put it in again as a separate memory, a rev limit at 3000rpm where it cuts injectors to 0%... No more thrashing for those punks.. and chances are the ****ers dont know what they are doing with ecus... and can just easily disconnect the handset so they can't get to it .
  22. I have the same and it does it, I'm not sure what causes it, but the simple and easy answer is not to ride the clutch.
