  1. Thanks for the input v8eta, Mase: Yes they are a straight swap, although i think they need a dif plug? But the general consensus of the threads i have been reading is that those injectors are designed for a rotary engine, the spray pattern being suited for that not so much a piston engine and apparently are a bitch to tune.

Okies I'll have pics of these up tommorro night. 9 puck ceramic clutch, decent condition, suit rb20det gearbox: make an offer (pending pictures) around 100-200 RB20DET Intake manifold top and bottom half (minus throttle body) - make an offer - about 50 old style recaro seat (suit s13 silvia) - 200 or make an offer RB20DET turbo - Once taken off engine, will post info on condition and pics. Asking about 200-300 Standard RB20DET intercooler - 50 ono. Willing to post interstate.

  5. Okies looking at getting a set of GTR injectors from rbnt, got a question, rb20 injectors are high impedance, and gtr being low, I have a microtech ecu, do i still need the resistor pack to install the gtr injectors?

  7. Hi, just have some questions here.. RB20det standard injectors are approximately good for how much rwkw's? My rb20 just went in for a full rebuild, and i purchased a garrett gt28 bb turbo - .70 comp cover, 0.64 exhaust housing, rated at 400hp. The wastegate actuator spring is rated at 11.8lbs. Now does that mean with the spring rate my minimum boost is 11.8psi? Because im a little worried about my injectors not being able to keep up with the turbo. I was planning to run about 8-10 pound initially, then once i upg fuel system i wind up the boost. I have a hybrid ebc btw. Any thoughts/insight would be appreciated.
  8. My car is out of action until full rebuild happens, I know Ken was up for a club, so am I, more than happy to help out with anything. about 2 weeks until car is fixed, got my garret turbo in the mail, taking car to daves this week, going to machine shop next week. woo woo
  9. omp from what you have been saying, if he is needing to ask you where the hoses go, leaving bits out, doesn't sound like a competent mechanic to be working on your engine (may be good with others mind you i dont know) but as for yours, its obvious you need to take it elsewhere.
  10. If price is no object, Tomei have a piston kit for an rb22 and rb24, although the rb24 requires you to use an rb26 crankshaft.

  20. I had a similar prob...well if you can call a niagra of coolant then yes... split a hose all the way up the back.
  21. 14032-75T05 - Gasket between Intake Manifold Halves ('Collector' Gasket) 14035-75T01 - Intake Manifold Gasket I found those doing a search, but they are for rb25det, anyone know the rb20 numbers?

Hey all, i just had a bit of a coolant leak on my rb20det so i ripped off the intake manifold and noticed the two gaskets the one inbetween the top and bottom half and the bit between the block and the plenum are pretty worn. Does anyone know the part numbers for these two? I hope i explained it well enough.
  23. I'd be up for it, except the silvia is out of action, i blew a gasket, or cracked the engine, either way its not going anywhere.
  24. I dont know much, but i would have assumed installing a fmic wouldn't prevent the stock bov from working.. Check vacuum lines maybe?
