  6. Has anyone here done the old jack the front of the car up, attach breaker bar to harmonic balancer, put the breaker bar against the floor then use the weight of the car letting it down off the jack to crack the nut (with car in gear, rear wheels on the ground) Ive heard of this technique being used before, but never actually done it, sounds like it should work, probably do the timing belt this weekend!
  7. r33 gtst coilovers are what you need champ. Slip right in.
  8. Thought id poke my head in Got a silver r34 GT. Slammed on GTT Wheels (for now) L.E.D Tails (yay) Rotor Spec Dumpy Exhaust Yellow/Black Standard issue plates BA-75-AN, feel free to beep at me although i probly wont see you until its too late coz im shocking with things like that. It only gets out on weekends mostly these days as i bought a daily for work n stuff. Pic Below;
  9. how bad are r34 engine covers lol. and u cant take them off coz of the maze of hoses underneath (personal opinion, but i have one myself, and would much prefer to to be naked under the bonnet like the 33's lol) in saying that, looking at some of these i might give mine a spray soon, perhaps it will change my opinion
  10. f**k, he bought a brand new lambo as a donor car. haha.
  11. saw the add for them today and thought the same thing. its just not the same tho.
  12. I have only a few arguments with the above post Leave your fronts hooked up how they are, to the headunit. Run one set of rcas to the boot and plug one end into the back of your h/u and plug the other end into the "front" input on the amp, then for hooking your sub to the amp, you will notice that under channels 1 and 2 it says bridged and indicates which two terminals you use for "bridged mode" these are the two you want to hook your sub into. The only time id concider using those Y splitters, is if you had a 4 channel amp and 2 subs, using the front channel for one sub and the rear channel for the other sub. Using Y splitters and running front speakers AND a sub off the same output of the headunit is never gonna sound good.
  13. its been done plenty of times on heaps of different cars, but for the safest, reliable setup, you'd wanna get a daughterboard in your ecu and have it tuned. its Cash youll be spending up front that will save you money later by stoping your motor going kaboom.
  14. whats a motor and box worth if u dont mind me asking?

  16. going to do mine one of these days... i did it to my pulsar ones, to paint the lens surround black, but they had glass lenses, id assume the same method however. oven on about 80-90 degrees, pop em in on a tray with baking paper on there, after 2-3 mins pull em out, see if theyre hot (ALMOST too hot to hang on to) if not giv em another minute and keep checking, then you want to GENTLY pry the lense off. just do it a little at a time, if its starting the get difficult, pop them back in the oven. its best to take your time with this, you dont wanna crack your lense from pulling too hard! mini disclaimer: i take no responsibility for any damage that occurs from doing this, im not an expert
  17. f**k YES. im heaps bummed bout headhunterz not makin an appearance, but it was to be expected. P.L.U.R lol
