  1. Guards have been rolled already offset is something im going to have to get the old measuring tape out for i think unless someone else on here has done it.
  2. ok cheers mate, how low was his car? I'm tucking a bit of tire on the factory gtt wheels. it would probly hav to be raised a bit to accomodate id say? anyone else done it?
  3. had a search and had trouble findin anything, just wondering if anyone is running 10" wide rear rims on their gtt or gt r34, wasnt sure if theyd actually fit on there or not? My cars fairly low as well, could be an issue, so maybe have to go for 8.5" but input is appreciated.
  4. when u can get a cd/mp3 headunit in a name brand (kenwood, pioneer etc.) for as low as 90 bucks these days, theres no reason to buy that stuff.
  5. been meaning to buy one of these for ages now. if anyone here has, give a me a good report so ive got some incetive to actually get one pre-fab boxes are no good in skylines. too big
  6. This thing looks like it'd be ace, where does it get kept at? Rekon we can get an LS2 into my R34 Next Year Sometime? Gotta come check out ur r32 sometime, your charades doing well too
  7. the charade i worked out would pay for itself in full in 20-25 weeks, with the distance im traveling atm+the money its saving. its got plenty of rego etc. also. so we'll see. plus im not putting the km's on my car etc...
  8. 8-900 i believe. wasnt paying alot of attention to that really. just wanted to get home n go to bed lol
  9. it was sydney to melbourne and back to sydney (well almost sydney, wollongong) in 12 hours haha. 1 and 3/4 tanks i think it was, its still not great on petrol, hence the daily.
  10. yea mate, flew outta sydney at 7am, got back home by 7pm, massive day haha.
  11. Put it this way, my car uses more fuel than a 5.7L SS commo on the freeway, i think its got alot to do with the gear ratios - you could probly get better economy from a turbo. My Pulsar hauled ass with fuel economy, i miss it lol. yea ive seen some rough examples driven by p-platers (more r33's atm as r34's havnt really taken off as much yet, but even so ive seen a few bad r34's) I'll keep the ride height as is, specially seeing ive got a daily now, im interested to slam it a bit more and get some shots tho tire issues will be resolved when i get camber arms, im just lazy haha. thanks for the comments tho
  12. Ive been thinking that, althought the L.E.D were a factory option, the differences between the east bear's and the factorys ive got no idea about! I could pull em out n find out, but it doesnt bother me that much! Cheers Tho Carizma offered great service to me, were they as good to you? Mods to come? Nothing major, the interior has a few additions that ill post up sometime, otherwise just some adjustable camber arms at the back, upper for now and ill see if im going to need adjustable lower arms, coz its got a quite alot of camber i wanna get wrid of. Other than that its getting an LSD, n thats about it. I dont wanna pour too much money in it just yet, as i could very well sell it in a year when im off my P's, or it could stay as a daily, not sure yet.
  13. Another Wee Update for those playing at home. Due to the economy being a top bloke, and me now having to travel more than 10mins to work, i decided to pick up a daily for a few reaons, a. save petrol (those of you who own rb25's know what im on about) b. Save putting kays on my beastie, ten point to anyone who can point out who used to own the charade So whats more efficient than a 3 cylinder 1L Motor? Nugget: Check lol. Also making the update list today is the fact i changed the wheels to the 17's the turbo's come with, and what a massive difference (i needed new tires anyway thanks to camber n these were a good price) also notice the window tint which is new. yay. Next on the list is the swappage of a twin tip to a rotor-spec dumpy the twin tip made an aweful chugging sound coz of the divider in it, much nicer sound with the dumpy, and it looks uber cool Uh-oh, somebody had a dirty tip when they took this photo And this concludes my update, camber arms are coming when i can be bothered gettin my ass to Just Jap, but for now it lives under a cover during the week anyway Looking at getting some r888's and then possible track days

  15. wheres the bottle? if ud rather pm me, do that, im thinking it might fit in the boot under the speakers? 10lb?
  16. dont use it, very interested in using it however, and have been since before i owned the line' more details? thats a good power increase!
  17. as stated, do the timing belt, mine is at 96000 now and the timing belt is starting to look a bit cracked and perished (got the new gear on the way) kudos motorsport sell a 100,000km service kit.
  18. Agreed, r34 cuphold is massive fail, and the bit that is between the two circles sorta thing, isnt big enough, so a smaller drink will slide through a little and tip over. but its better than nothing i suppose
  19. x2 n no rear speakers, or at least dont spend big, ive got some pioneer splits in the back (with soundstream fulsh mount tweeters next to the covers, looks cool ) butttt in saying that ive got it faded about 80-90% to the front for optimum sound. (Got splits in the front too) so unless ur a brand whore dont go spending big amounts on rear speakers that will never be used to their potential, a set of $100 3-ways will do the job just fine.
  20. cheers mate but just jap had one for me close.
  21. as in title, need TPS for R34, if anyone knows someone selling new ones would be good, otherwise 2nd hand will do.
  22. thats what im after, ill give nissan a go tomorow, if anyone can fast a part number itd b great, i dont have those facilities
  23. does anyone know what its called, or where i can get this item circled below? i dont need the actual one way valve bit, but the rubber (or what appears to be rubber, i dont know, i dont have one) bit that sits in the cover and makes it sit in tight, just realised mine was flapping around in there and is probably creating a vac leak (due to that hose going straight into the plenum) PIC:
