  1. Im Pretty sure jaycar have a kit that will have your lights work like normal (ie. still turn on without key) but turn off when you take out the key after driving, much like a commodore. Dont quote me on it thought, definantly somthing useful however.
  2. finally got off my ass and ran a few tests, first thing i check was the tps adjustment, it was out by 0.2 volts (was at 0.2, supposed to be at 0.4 with closed throttle) and its now PERFECT that i have adjusted it, it was something i originally thought "wouldnt have been touched so i wont bother checking" silly me! Throttle response is now completely smooth with no "jerkiness"

I've got a problem with my GT which ive had since i bought it, but it was never on the top of my list of things to do, but now it is lol. under light throttle every now again I get what feels like a heavy missfire, not constantly, just a jolt every now and again sometimes it worse than others but its definantly always there, When i first got it i checked the ecu codes, it showed up 02 sensor code, so obviously i thought this was problem, i reset the codes, took it for a drive and then the 02 code came back, so i replaced the sensor, but i still have this problem, but the 02 sensor code hasnt come back, so it must have been completely unrelated althought i sometimes got the CEL coming on at the same time as the miss? Definantly didnt get any other codes besides 02 sensor (Double Confirmed with Consult) and im Definantly No Longer getting it. Car Runs and idles fine, acceleration is fine and appears to rev to redline freely (maybe a bit slower than it should but thats coz its missing a turbo lol) So throw some ideas at me? Doesnt seem like an afm problem does it? Maybe has the Dry Solder Joints problem? Or am i going to have to buy some coils? Its just when i changed my plugs the coils looked brand new, but i suppose not alot of dirt would get down there?

  5. Yea i wouldnt be importing at the moment, not with this dollar, im very happy i got mine imported juuuuuust before the market crashed! but 13-14k semi autos are avaliable on the private seller market.

  9. amen to that, nothing more dangerous than an unpredictable worn out lsd. it sucks. locker ftw.

Of the cars ive driven with mini spools and even welded diffs, wet/dry condition, neither are all that bad, as long as you are aware that you are in fact driving a car with a locker and dont try to be a hero around corners in the wet, its fine. Even in my mates S2 rx7, which isnt exactly heavy in the arse end. with a welded diff is fine in the wet and that diff has been welded for around 2.5 years. Obvously an lsd would be a much better option by far, but getting the welder out can be a good way to learn how a car behaves when boths wheels are spinning evenly.

  12. do u get skipping around corners? if so youve got alocker or a very very tight lsd. if not, id say you have an lsd.

  14. are there a great deal of gains to be had getting an e-manage or similar on an n/a and getting a tune? would it be worth doing at all?
  15. yea mate, no lsd, it does doubles but the wheels spin opposite ways when jacked up. And it has the little brakes thanks tho

  21. Title basically says it all, need to screw the sender into somewhere, not sure where i can or if im gonna have to buy a t-piece or something. I was hoping that the factory sender shared the same values as the aftermarket one but unfortunately it doesnt so ill have to mount this one in somewhere. So how has everyone done them? i was hoping to avoid a sandwich plate.
  22. looks great. pretty much the same as mine except i have the JDM L.E.D Tail Lights (Sexxxxy) and no wing. Not sure if my silver is slightly different also? might just be the camera. How much did it cost ya? EDIT: No Xenon Headlights? That Sucks.
