Hi all, Selling the below things do to the move to E85. KTS Metal intake Pipe (GReddy style) painted black. Has a few scratches in the paint, other than that it is perfectly fine. Bolts straight up to std afm and turbo inlet elbow. $150 inc all silicone joiners and clamps etc JECS Highflowed injectors, done by PJ's Quickbits. They are now rated at 600cc for SR20. Great stealth mod. Came out of my car yesterday and have worked faultlessly since ey were done. For a mid range wax i have used both the P21s wax and also the Pinnacle Sovereign wax. Both around the $60-$70 dollar mark but last for ages. With these it is very important to make sure your paint is clean and well prepared. The results are just much better.

Your selling it coz your neighbors complained? Why did they complain?

Have used clay a heap of times and never left any marks. Always do it in an up and down motion and never in circles. Ensure you use the correct lubricant, and the more the better. Also when storing it I usually get a small Tupperware container to keep it in, and spray some of the lube onto it to keep it moist. 50 shades of clay......lol

Is there any oil in the turbo inlet? Could be valve stem seals, but I would put my money on turbo. So when cruising and then when you are rolling up to a stop you get the smoke? Most likely turbo bro. I had the same symptoms and it was my turbo.

How long did you boys wait till you took delivery? I ordered my TD06sl2 on Wednesday last week. It has been despatched, but just hoping I get it before the weekend.

If it is as clean as it looks in the pics, and has no other issues, i think the asking price is reasonable bro. Its a bloody good looking example if u ask me. Gl with the sale man.

Not necessarily true about the suds thing. I have recently bought a foam lance which hooks up to my Karcher pressure washer. This creates a really nice thick foam that sits on the cars surface. The reason for this is to let the suds suck up any dust and dirt that isn't stuck to your paint. You then rinse it off and begin your normal washing process whatever that may be. I have found that this actually does work quite well, in reducing the small scratches you create when you are applying your normal wash with a microfibre mitt or sponge. I wasn't really sold on it but i am def sold on it now.

How does the rainX stuff go on removing watermarks on glass? I've tried a lot and i cant seem to get rid of the ones on my rear window?

Everyone's worst nightmare man. Tuff luck. Get it back on the road and enjoy it. I know u want it as a daily but it's a risky thing man. I had mine as a daily for a bit and hated putting so many kms on it. The bug will bite mate it's just a matter of time. I ended up buying a pos daily for $500 to get to work and back. I absolutely love being able to leave my baby in my garage for weekend ls etc. prob the best thing I ever did was buy the daily.

Yea they are illegal and can be defected for them. Is the rest of the exhaust std? Or is it a cat back?

Hey Johnno34. Sorry for the late reply bro. I didn't know that FI didn't sell it any more? I bought a big 4 litre container of the stuff a while ago as i went halves with my bro. I need to get some more though. Did they say why it is no longer available? That stuff is the bomb for a quick detailer.

The stuff i use pretty regularly and find very good is: Any decent body wash Autoglym Clay Bar Kit MEnzerna polish (light cut) Only if my paint needs some correction or Pinnacle paint cleansing lotion or Poor boys polish (for dark coloured paints) Either P21s Carnuba wax or Pinnacle Signature series Wax (either of these are absolutely fantastic, highly recommend) I also use as a top up after each was the OCW (Optimum Spray Wax) Also a wicked product. I'm a bit obsessed with detailing my car and can tell you i have tried so many brands, and find that spending a bit extra is definitely worth it. I don't buy any of the mass marketed off the shelf stuff any more. Just too expensive for what it is. In my opinion the Meguiers stuff is middle of the run average product. Great for the average joe, but just doesnt cut the mustard if you are a keen enthusiast.

Detailing is one of the only things i do that enables me to put everything behind me and just enjoy the process. I live a pretty crazy life. 3 young kids, work 50+ hours/week plus going to uni at night. So when i get some time to myself getting a few JD and cokes and chilling in my garage with some tunes for a few hours is bliss for me!!!!
