  1. Well we are not all hard parkers like me!!!
  2. Geez....you guys are as bad as the boys on NS.com.
  3. I don't understand why people don't enjoy cleaning their car. It is honestly one of my favourite things to do. I reckon my car gets washed and detailed more than it gets driven. My neighbours must think im obsessive compulsive. Im always out in the garage at all hours waxing away. It is probably the most relaxing therapeutic thing i do. Pic....because who doesn't like pics!!
  4. Does your exhaust not come past the rear bar? If it sits in a little that could be the cause.
  5. Hi all, I'm after a R33 LSD with 4.11 gearing. PM me if you have what i need.
  6. So you are getting 20-22psi when running straight off the actuator? YOu sure it is a 1bar actuator? If you are running a 1 bar spring you should see 1bar ~1-2psi, depending on exhaust, intake set up etc.
  7. I know they wont offer this type of thing, but it would be awesome to have an options list which included things such as airbags, TC, ABS, electronic aids, electric windows. If you wanna try and get the old feel by not having any of this stuff, plus saving weight. All the requirements for cars to have all this heavy crap these days for "safety" reasons just kills a cars personality if you ask me.
  8. Any cop attention? The last few meets at the Pines the boys in blue have rocked up.
  9. I might come along me thinks
  10. How many clicks bro?
  11. Super tough car bro. True 80's style import. So much character and style. GL man.......I would love one of these for a weekend cruiser. I just cant justify another weekend car with the treasury.....if you know what i mean.
  12. Not a bad idea to do a short course. Whatever your budget double it.......and whatever your time line....double it. YOur choice in car is great but parts for those are not easy to come by so that may create some headaches. A 1970 RT Charger is the bomb. Most important thing is enjoy it as if you biuld it from ground up it will become part of you. My bro and i have been trying to build out Datto 510 for 2 years now and still dont even have it as a rolling shell. Time is a hard thing to find when you got a family.
  13. Everyone has to go through 3 years of pain. To be honest i dont think P platers should be able to drive anything remotely fast. Thinking you are a lot better than you actually in anything in life let alone controlling a vehicle is a dangerous thing. There are too many arrogant little punk turds these days that think they are above the law.
  14. Knob. Hiring this car and a honeymoon in Paris.........doesnt sound like they are strapped for cash.
  15. Yes it will work ok.......but with a sander vs a Random Orbital there is a lot less margin for error. More chance of heating the paint up too much and burning etc. If you have a fair idea of what you are doing then you should be ok, but it isnt ideal. You can get a decent Bosch random orbital polisher for $150.
  16. If you are after highflowed jobs....i would go to "PJ's Quickbits" I can only vouch for him, but i have been running highflowed injectors he did for me for some time and have got very good results. Will def go to him again when i go to E85.
  17. You are correct.....Quick detailers are exactly that.......should only be used as a quick top up after you wash and dry your car. I dont use QD too much to be honest. I wax my car more than enough to worry about QD.....but when i do OCW work for me. Check out carcareproducts.com.au or waxxit.com.au
  18. Welcome bro. You have posted in the wrong section though. Have a search and you should find the new member intro thread.
  19. OCW is probably one of the best and easiest spray on detailer/wax i have used. I find though they only really work well if you have a good base on your car. As long as the paint already has a good coverage of wax on it then the OCW or spray wax work better.
  20. Yea +1 for Waxit.com & carcareproducts. If in VIC go into the Waxit if you are not sure what to get. The guys will help you out. But as mentioned above....you can buy the best polish on the market....but if you dont do proper prep work you will be wasting your time and money.
  21. I use Menzerna fine cut Polish, Poorboys sealant, and Pinnacle Sovereign Wax. This was the first time i used the Pinnacle Wax, as in the past i have alsways used the P21s. Pretty happy with the results.
  22. Clay bar is one of the best and most important things you can do for your cars appearance. It only needs doing maybe twice a year depending on your cars activity and where she sleeps etc. Having a good looking car is all in the prep work. Below is a few pics of my car jsut after a full detail it did. After this i could drop a cloth on the bonnet or roof, and it would just slide off. Smooth as silk!!>Wash>Clay>Wash>Polish>Seal>Wax
