I got an EPa notice in the mail today. It is for Noise and Emissions. What exactly do i need to do? I have a front mount Standard airbox ECU (piggyback hidden in the kick panel) EBC AVCr I also have a 2871r (looks factory) Z32 afm and larger injectors I obviosly have to get a standard exhaust. I dont need to change to the factory side mount do i? How do i take off my EBC? Is this hard? The car is an S14a I thought they would only check to make sure they car is legal noise and the emisions are ok? I didnt think they would look at all this other stuff? Kinda peakin out. Need advice

Yea i have tried some paint cleaner, but it was more of a polish than a cleaner i guess. Cheers will give it a go.

Chop it Daddy. Well we have all done it. I did it in my old 31. Only took out one coil. It did stiffen it up, but if you do it to the point wherer your spring isnt captive then you are asking for trouble. You can get Kings or Kmac for about $120 a pair. Better than slamming into a tree. Just get off the piss and smokes for 2 weeks, and bang there is ya cash.

Could be boost leak? I had the same issue and was fine driving normal. Under boost it would misfire at high revs. I changed plugs, coils, filters, and ended up finding a hole in my cooler piping about the size of a tic tac. Fixed this and fixed the problem.

Yea but there would still be some pressure in the system. Whereas expelling to atmosphere relieves all the pressure hence the turbs having to spool up and build boost again. If ya like me you probably get bored anyway and are constantly changing set ups.

Were you rims already painted? I wanna spray my rims, but not sure how to get all the old paint off first? Is sanding by hand the only way?

How much you want for em? I want the rims to sit out a little more. Whats width are they? As you can see below the offset isnt too good IMO.

Hi all, I recently got defected for some stuff on my S14a. I had to put on some other rims so i picked up some R32 Gtst rims. I wanted to use the bolt on spacers i already had but they dont fit. the centre lip on the spacer is a little to large in diameter. Its the centre hub locating ring on the inner part of the spacer that is a little too large to fit snug into the rim. The bolt on spacers i got where the ISC ones. They are all the same arent they?

Hi all, I need some advice. From NS.com. We dont have a dedicated detailing sub forum so hopefully someone can help me? I am a little obsessed with keeping my car clean. Using Meg soft wash shampoo. P21s Wax and also the OCW. Always use microfibre chamois and polishing cloths etc. There is a small section on my bonnett between the window sprayers that has some slight cloudyness to it. My paint is in excellent nic, apart from this little section. what can i do to get this out? I have tried claying it, but that didnt work. Not too keen on using a cut as my paint is pretty new.......(2 years old)
