interestingly enough, my safc was used to richen the mixtures up top.... It did 5 runs on the dyno in 4th gear and by richening the mixtures (+9%)from about 5k onward (75%throttle) I was able to gain a healthy 17rwkw and totally eliminate pinging. The car has a much fatter power curve and feels 100% better on the road. Plus I have the peace of mind that it isn't pinging and is safe to run at 12psi.. I'd go dyno tuning over road tuning unless you really know what you're doing.

Hey ppl, I'm geting some rims soon and I'd really like the 34gtr rims. Prob is that the offset is not the greatest to fit to a gts-t and I don't really like spending a small fortune on 2nd hand rims just because they are original gtr items. Is there anything that looks like gtr rims but are made by an aftermarket company? Maybe something I could get from Tempe or Ozzy tyres? Also.... opinions please.. Silver r33 gts-t.. chrome, charcoal or chrome/gold rims (AME style)??

hey, got a 52mm greddy single gauge holder for the a-pillar, was either 129 or 139 from croydon autosports however i dont require this setup,. It has never been used and fits skyline perfectly. I have pics i can email to anyone interested, in the pics it is a little hard to see but it has a raised "greddy" logo on the mount.. Looking for $70 express posted anywhere in oz.

thanx to my conservative driving style my clutch is on the way out and in need of replacement. What sort of pricing should I expect for a clutch including installation in sydney? I am after something heavy duty, but I'm also a little budget conscious... Ultimately I'd love to do a clutch/flywheel at the same time but I don't think the funds will allow for that atm. How much do the excedy clutches go for? I hope to acheive a mild 200-210rwks in the near future so I'll need something to support that. I used to have a brass-button clutch and one-tonne pressure plate in my rotor and that was awesome, but somehow I don't think it is suitable for a more refined skyline. I'm after similiar performance if that helps at all. thanks in advance.

I had the same prob recently. I figured I wasn't going to be using the stock muffler again anyway, so I got the grinder out and cut those "arrow" tips off the muffler supports. It slid out with ease after that.

when looking at the wiring diagram make sure that you are matching the wires from the back of the ECU plug, do not look at the mating side of the plug as this will be incorrect.

Unigroup engineering can dyno tune your safc. I can highly recommend them. I mounted mine on the dash above the air vents.. but if you want a more discrete look try in front of the DIN slot or to the left of the steering shroud above where your left leg goes. Check my sig for unigroup details.

I wouldn't worry about the petrol smell all that much.. I actually like it I did have a surge tank fitted in my rx3 coupe and had the same problem. I actually had two pumps in the boot and a surge tank... there were also two holes in the parcel tray where speakers used to be, so the smell would come straight through into the cabin... not too good if you wanna go places without smelling like your local servo.

hi rojoor, I assume that you have already installed it, yes? If so getting it tuned doesn't cost very much, probably $150 or less, and in my opinion it is definitley worthwhile. You could probably expect to get about another 15rwkw by getting it properly dyno tuned. If you're in sydney try Unigroup (they're in my sig) I can highly recommend them.

This is unused and also has a raised "Greddy" logo on the pod. It will fit skyline trim and if any modification should be needed it will easily mould with a heatgun. benm.. where did you get that price? It seems quite good considering it's installed as well! Did you have to leave the car there overnight or was it just a day job?

I emailed the guy on ebay as the price is really good. But he won't mark it as a gift before he sends it... How much duty would I be looking at paying?
