  1. Tommy, Ports, or anyone from SAU, come say hello at WSID. I have a Burgandy R33 GTS-t with SAU sticker and a GCG Turbo sticker on the bonnet, and the roughest front bar from following a Semi Trailer down the Pacific Hwy at 3am and he straddled a dead kangaroo and it didn't fit under my bar....bugga. Ian
  2. Im going to sydney for a tune this wednesday and thought i might give it a go. Is it open this wed 8/2/06. What time do the gates open and start racing? Any other skylines going to be out? thanks Ian
  3. Good old C&V, nice work.
  4. Noooo don't cut them off, they should twist out fine. Maybe get a piece of metal rod that is a good fit inside the breather pipe and gently twist it and it will pop out.
  5. Yeah...I agree, they'r not user friendly and information is difficult to Search for.
  6. I got my invitation to join the Datalogit UserGroup today as well. All the guys on Mafia's GB will get the invite shortly I guess. ken
  7. If the car is registered in Vic and you live in NSW you only have a certain amount of time to have the car re-registered in NSW. Just make sure that you only indicate that the car was being driven in NSW for a short amount of time.
  8. I'm interested in the Rear Sub-Frame Bushes..They don't show anything for R33 GTS-t but i presume most Nissan Rear Subframes are the same. 4 Bushes I think. Thanks
  9. Here is the one 6boost made for our car. It's getting fitted today and dynoed next week. Ian
  10. If it's in a Rb25DET, I have a R34 Fuel Pump with Nismo 550 injectors and when it reached around 270 rwkw it was showing signs of running out of fuel so a Bosch 044 and swirl pot had to be installed. Ian
  11. There are a few small hoses under the plenum and a "U" shaped hose that runs around the back of the Head. It's best to replace them all because they would be around 12 years old.
  12. Hi dangerman, I just took a couple of snaps of how we mounted the Sard FPR on the R33 GTS-t. Hope it helps. Ken
  13. If you type in "flywheel" and search in group buys you will find a thread by darrinspencer. This is an excellent lightened flywheel made in Queensland. You might still be able to contact the manufacturer and get one. Hope that helps Ken
  14. Yes, It sure was.
  15. It's a low mount, It's been made to fit using the standard position for Air Intake and Intercooler Pipe.
  16. Ohhh and remember, the front wheel studs are a mil or two thicker than the rear studs. I had to replace one on the rear last week and i had a heap of new front studs. They are too thick.
  17. I've had this new Exhaust Manifold and Dump for a while now and been too busy to fit it. It's gonna happen in the next few weeks though. The manifold is made out of steam pipe and Ceramic Heat Treated inside and out. The dump is made to an unfinished state and just has to be fitted and aligned with the Cat by a local exhaust guy. Then it can be sent off for ceramic heat coating. This is for my R33 GTS-t Ian
  18. Hi Nate, I'm not a mechanic but I have watched the job done by mechanics. Always bleed the longest line first progressing to the shortest line. Some mechanics also use a compressor with an adaptor and suck the fluid through the line. Also pistons can become jammed.
  19. silman, why are you set on cast manifolds. I know a guy in Qld that makes excellent manifolds out of steam pipe.
  20. It's best not to drill any holes in the firewall. Find an allready installed grommet in a convenient location and feed it through that. Even if you have to slightly enlarge the hole in the grommet.
  21. Ive got a Series 1 GTS-t putting out around 270kw and the Water Temperature reading on the Power FC never goes above 81* except during a 3 lap Supersprint when it goes to around 98* and cools down to 81* within 4 mins of driving slowly. I have a Electronic Omori Oil Temp Guage fitted and an Oil Cooler and the Oil Temp never gets above 70* except during a 3 lap Supersprint when it gets to around 100* and it cools back to 70* within the 4 minuite cooldown as well. This was with the Standard Radiator which I replaced with a PWR thicker one and no differece has been noticed. Also running tank water with Water Wetter in the system. I think 98* normal running seems too hot and I would get the cooling system flushed. Ian
  22. I've read a lot of threads on this forum stating "No gains made with Variable Exhaust Cam Gears on GTS-t's," but when I got ours tuned at C&V it made around 7kw@tw more. Con at C&V thought realisticaly it was more because the engine was becoming heat soaked. John Penlington at Unique has dyno sheets showing a larger improvement than mine tuning Variable Cam Timing Gears on a GTS-t. I'll ring John and ask him to post his sheets.
  23. Could also be a dirty AFM mate, get a can of Brake Cleaner and give the AFM a good squirting. Don't use Contact Cleaner because it doesn't work cleaning. Ken
  24. My Cat arrived today with flanges and temp probe bung. Graham (Magic) is a nice bloke, I rang him on Tuesday and it arrived on Thursday. Great service and a good product. Thanks siks11. Ian
  25. Sydneykid is right Luke, Your going to adjust your Exh cam using your Adjustable Cam Gear. I have the HKS Instruction sheets at home here but from memory there is only a Dial In Sheet with the HKS Exhaust Cam. If you really need the Instructions I can Scan and Email to you if you want. Ken
