Hi rev, can you tell me how you modified the R33 CAS so that it fitted on the R34 Cam CAS. I have a problem with trying to sort something out like that now. Even bought a new R34 CAS and its not working. Thanks Rev Ian

Hi cameron, How do you do a sensor check on the Power FC? What we did do is connect up the R34 CAS to the loom and with the ignition on, spun the spindle and nothing. We did the same with my original CAS and the fuel pump started whirring. So we think maybe something might be wrong with the CAS and it is faulty cause it gets no signal. Thanks cameron Ian

Aggg I bought a brand new R34 CAS today and installed it and it appears to get no signal from and gives no signal to the Power FC...The starter just cranks over and the car doesnt even try to start. Help...Any suggestions? Thanks in advance Ian

I think its the opposite to what your saying lukits, the Series 1 and Early Series 2 have the star drive and the Late Series 2 and Neo R34 have the half circle drive in the CAS connection. I have a Star Drive CAS working perfect for sale now. You can have it for $200 + postage. Thanks lukits Ian ph.0414780869

Yes the cams are installed along with new timing belt and tensioners, water pump, seals. Dont want to take them out and send them back to Japan..I'll have to find a way of getting the CAS to work.

Im desperate for a R34 CAS, I believe these connect up to the offset slot in the camshaft as opposed to the earlier toothed drive. Either PM me or email [email protected] Thanks Ian

Nooo...not yet dnb...far from it....I am going to try and locate a R34 CAS and that should solve the problem, but apparantly R34 CAS's are hard to locate. Didnt really need all this drama..If the right cams had have been sent to me from Japan, this should never have happened. Thanks dnb Ian

Hi dnb. No its the other way around, the cam has like a half circle drive and my CAS has the star drive. But i think you understand my problem. Thanks for your help dnb Ian

I have just had a set of HKS Step 1 Cams installed in my 94 Series 1 GTS-t. The exhaust cam is 264* P/N 2202-RN175. The problem is the CAS will not mate up to the HKS camshaft, with has a totally different arrangement to the stock camshaft. Has anyone experiecnced this problem and is there a HKS part that can replace the part that is riveted onto the CAS that engages in the camshaft? Thanks in advance Ian

Hi Trust33, Yes it is advisable to change the cam seals when putting in new cams. Thanks Steve for the thread with the P/N's for the genuine parts. I actually got non genuine Cam Shaft Seals from my local friendly Nissan Dealer "Kelpro" P/N 97342. Thanks again Steve Ken

Duncan, If i purchase a pair of OBX seats and a pair of Bride seat rails, Is it a straightforward bolt in process to install in a R33 GTS-t? Thanks Duncan Ian

I can't verify that those numbers are on the injectors as they are in the car. I will try and attatch a photo of the injectors and the box they come in. Ken

I bought a set of Nismo 555cc injectors, direct bolt in injector for R33 GTS-t. Part Number 16600-RR543. If you get them make sure you get the Top and Bottom O-Rings for the injectors from your friendly Nissan Dealer. Hope that helps Ken
