  1. Stock manifold (untouched when I replaced the turbo) It's a split dump/front pipe, but not one of the shitty JJR ones, it's got a huge long split for the wastegate gasses. I also checked when I had it disconnected that the wastegate flapper doesn't catch on the interior of the dump (like on the JJR ones)... but that may have changed when I put it all back together..... I'm thinking maybe the gasket could be sitting shitty or something? The wastegate is completely shut at idle.
  2. So I unhooked my wastegate actuator hose before work, went for a drive around to warm up (then a bit longer lol) Anyway, hit around 10-12psi a few times (before backing off), but laggy, and can still hear a balloon squeak type noise. Dump pipe on incorrectly?
  3. Sweet mang, that'd be awesome. Dunno when I'm free yet though, but I've got about 3 hours free tonight after work so I'll see about lazily getting into getting all the piping off to save some time later. And yeah keen as for that 'stuff' you got P.S. Morning mangs!
  4. Stupid boost leak...... I think Martin's right, exhaust leak before the turbo, my money is on the turbo manifold gasket not seated properly. Fun weekend ahead...
  5. WTF I pressurised my intake system again... all my piping seems fine. It seems like there's an air leak somewhere around the rear of the motor, on the turbo side, kind of around the back corner of the rocker cover. One of the screws there was half a turn loose so tightened that but realllllllly doubt that was the problem. I already packed up the compressor etc so I didn't check again but I doubt it did anything. What other pipes run around the back of the motor that carry pressurised intake air??
  6. Jason I dunno WTF that video was But I liked it Dan you're hardcore hahahahahaa
  7. Hahahahahahaha nicely put Hahahahahahaha nicely put Also keen for laser force! I'll even bring my laser!... force.....
  8. Anyone know the size of the throttle body rubber/silicone joiner on RB25det? is it 70mm diameter? by about.... 4 inches long?? Got a split when I changed the turbo... replace it and see if there's any improvement
  9. Hahahahaha niiiiiice Dan whatchu got to sell? BDO was f**king epic. Clear skies and good temp. So f**king tired though hahaha. Car still has like 2psi boost Sleeeeeeeeeeeeepytime now
  10. Should be 7psi actuator pressure
  11. Even better than a baked bean can pressuremeriser.... Picked up this little beauty last night from my mate Won't be going in for a while, at least until I figure out why I'm STILL not making any worthwhile amount of boost Check out the TERRIBLE translation on the box:
  12. Cause I turned your skirty ass down?
  13. *yawn* Dude, apply on seek until you can't anymore. Then, turn the computer off and go into some physical shops/warehouses/offices etc. You'll get rejected from 99/100 of them, but that 1 that doesn't send you away crying could be your new job. I love you martin
  14. Yeah the iphone version of the forum is severely lacking key features -Page numbers -ability to multiquote -tits We can fix the last one easily enough
  15. Hahahahaha I used to hate drums but after the first laser I'm the f**king bomb
  16. HAHAHAHA I feel like we should try that method f**k I love skylines. I was down the back end of the warehouse and I heard out at the street the biggest, fattest spool, screeching of tyres, screamer pipe, EPIC atmo bov... and run out and she was gone ... but was definately an RB
  17. HAHAHA yeah I thought it was a great idea... I actually got it off this very site... Is this the same old one? Or a NEW defect??
  18. Having said that, a big miss above 4k sounds more like your coilpacks
  19. I removed my AFM and replaced it with a full baked bean can (clamp it in tight) Then I pulled the cooler piping -> actuator vacuum hose and replaced it (on the piping nipple) with a bike tyre valve on a piece of hose and all clamped tight, then hooked that up the my compressor set @ 10psi. Worked a treat, cost me $7 hahaha. Oh, plus the baked beans. But now I'm gonna have them for lunch so it's win-win!
