  1. How hard is it to find/get to/replace the VCT solenoid? I have no idea where it is
  2. Yeah I didn't understand that either...... And now I've lost my phone. Worst day ever
  3. Hey Nicholas, I've got the exact same thing going on with my car. Lumpy idle (not missing or anything like that, just makes a 'breathing' noise maybe once every 1-2 seconds consistantly). Thought it might be my timing, so I bought and hooked up ECUtalk, and my timing reading is all over the place between 0 - 15 deg as well... I can't figure out why! Next thing I'm going to try is check/adjust the timing at the CAS, just so I know what it's set to, and just to rule it out for further problems. I'll keep you posted.
  4. Yeah, I basically cream every time I see a good GTR in person...... 33/34. 32 GTRs just don't do it for me really.
  5. I say go to court. If you're gonna lose your licence, fight it all the way. The obvious arguement is that there was a car so close behind you that you deemed it unsafe to stop at the light, which is my understanding of the yellow light situation - stop when safe to do so. Only problem will be providing evidence of this. A witness would be the best help but hey, how are you gonna find a witness? MAYBE you could find some footage from a security camera in the area... I dunno, that's a reallllllll long shot though, I doubt you'll get any help on that one. Good luck mate.
  6. Sup supppppppppp meng Is 'meng' the plural of 'mang'..... like 'men'? If not, it is now!
  7. damn you dave!
  8. skins where do you work?? And yeah no youtube on my phone when out in the valley... Please explain the vid for me!
  9. Dead thread dead thread dead thread dead thread dead thread those words have just lost all meaning to me
  10. Hey tom, how'd you go with your timing? I'm gonna have to check and adjust mine soon
  11. Ahh ok... should that be done on a dyno? Or can any mechanic do that?
  12. Even some model of SAFC would be able to give me a boost down low... for a far sight cheaper still. Any comments on SAFC/2 performance? It's only about 5 wires to splice in isn't it?
  13. I'd like to do things on the cheaper side for RIGHT NOW, but I can save for a PFC or whatever. Obviously it's not simply plug in and boost your nuts off, but it does sound like a better option (so much easier to wire in hahaha). Then drive sedately to wherever/whoever to get a proper tune. Other option I was leaning towards was a Nistune... even easier... and I can't see me adding too much extra in the future, so its an option. Really all I want is more torque in the lower RPM range... It's only a streeter so I'm not fussed up high, cause it rarely gets to go at full song... I'd just like to be pushed back in my seat sooner Thanks for the PM too Tas
  14. Also..... anyone have experience with haltech or emanage? I can get an emanage blue for pretty cheap off a mate, but apparently they're a pain to install + tune (anyone here know someone who can tune them?) On the other hand, I know nothing about the haltechs. I was wanting to install myself, I'm pretty handy....... but won't be able to tune. Debate......... NOW!
  15. Hahahaha sick Nawww... John making you a little hot in the pants now?
  16. Oh and Dan my mate's a tool and posted those vids on his facebook.... so I cant save them from that. I told him eleventy billion times to email them to me but hey, the dude's a tripper what can I say. In other words, I'll have them soon for you. PM me your email brooooooooooooo
  17. Hey that's sweet..... I'm not a fan of pink (being the manly man that I am - LOL) but that's some good styling. So over seeing everything lit up blue in tuner cars. Having said that, I'll probably be doing that next
  18. Oh you know exactly what to say to make a girl blush!! How come you're not out there???
