  1. 205/55/16 is stock R33 GTST tyre isn't it? .... so I would assume the R32 was the same?? or at least very very close??????QUESTIONMARKETY????????
  2. That implies there's ANYONE-ILF at Ipswich. There is not.
  3. I'm running 10psi, but yeah, even if I were to set it to say 7psi, it's laggier than using the stock solenoid. Not a huge deal to me, I'm just curious, it's always been like that since I bought it and I've swapped it back to the stock solenoid twice, just for shits and giggles and to experiment and learn - I was a complete mechanical noob when I bought it but am pretty happy with where I'm at now.
  4. Also can anyone tell me what the RB30det wastegate actuator pressure is?
  5. Well that's the thing, it's not, as far as I'm aware anyway. I mean, boost comes on faster when I'm using the stock gear... how does that indicate that my actuator is stuffed? Not being rude, I'm legitimately asking as I don't get it. Do manual controllers inherently = lag? Or would it be something specific to my setup?
  6. Hey while there are a few people here, what would spool faster on my stock R33 turbo: running a manual boost controller set to 10psi, or running an R32 wastegate actuator? When I use the stock boost solenoid, my turbo spools so damn fast, but when using the manual controller it takes a while to get going, so I'm thinking of replacing the actuator...... good idea?
  7. EVERYTHING ALWAYS DOES!! It's the mangin-est hydrant mang I've ever manged, mang.
  8. Think of it as encouragement, like a master training his pupil. You will learn....
  9. anyone for cruises? Central area preferred... City, valley, kangaroo point, southbank?
  10. I've got 1/4 of a boner now We should crash munchies with a bunch of skylines..... not physically CRASH obviously, but you get what I mean
  11. Hey yeah what IS this munchies I hear about all the time?
  12. Hey, money's money..... and at the end of the day, everyone needs to earn a crust. Much respect to john for (apparently ) applying for a tonne of jobs, and trying to score interviews. I have a couple of 'mates' from high school, never held down a steady job since school, they sit on the dole and bludge all day every day..... can't stand shit like that to be honest. I know that from time to time people get struck out, lose their job, want to relax for a bit, and hey that's fine. Just wish the losers wouldn't bludge my tax money and stay unemployed out of choice when there's nothing standing in their way. /rant
  13. I'll admit I want a GTR kit for my GTST... dunno about the badges though
  14. Ok wow, that's pretty simple hahaha. I'll try and source one when I get a chance and report back here
  15. Yeah it's held out for me over the past year of owning my skyline. I find however that it takes longer to spool my turbo up, using this MBC... when using the stock solenoid it comes on boost much quicker. Any opinions?
  16. Hey all, sorry to bring up an old thread but it seemed like the best place to ask for help. I'm wanting to get an R32 actuator and stick it in my R33... question is, how do I actually replace the actuator? Is it a simple matter of say, removing my intercooler piping and then I'll be able to get to it? Or is more work than that needed to expose what I need to get to?
  17. Are you sure you didn't read it as 400 per week Dave? That's closer to $10 an hour, which is roughly apprentice wages, no? Can't remember what Dave does for a living, although he has told me.
  18. hands up if you're finished work for the week! *puts hand up* Not counting John, of course
