  1. spotted a white 33 gtr parked at warners bay last night opp mumma mex.
  2. They are hot rims indeed but just not enough dish for a 33 gtr which I think he might be after
  3. 265/35/18 will suit the 9.5" rims which are fairly common size or in 255/40/18 you got Falken RT615, not as much a common size.
  4. I use Royal Purple 10w40. $70 costs me(trade). Before the gtr, I had an n14 with sr20det that only ever saw RP. Its not a GP5 like chrono but its still good value.
  5. Spotted twoogle at bennetts green lights today. About lunch time on my way home from work.
  6. Hey Bakes, did you look into extrude honed manifolds or not?
  7. So 180, did you find any replacement or are we doomed to sticking with the S1 steer wheel? I too have a S1 GTR and was wanting to change the wheel.
  8. OK for the guys asking where to get cheaper prices, I priced everything (from the SK GB) except the shocks from bursons a few months ago and was $500 cheaper overall. This was trade price too. Bursons are whiteline agents.
  9. This has been covered a million times.Plenty of info on this site. Make the search button your friend.
  10. Keep spotting a R32 parked near the rta in town along parry st.
  11. Would of loved to have been there. The 32 would of sounded fat as. bozman You cant tease us like that lol.
  12. lol's at all the above
  13. Just drive it normally. Just dont ride the shit out of it. Thats all that we mean. You will get a feel for it within a drive or two anyway.
  14. No a cushion button is different to a puck clutch. It still has a round plate with 8 or 9 little pads of material around it. A puck clutch or as some call it a brass button clutch(old school) does not have a round plate. It is segmented with 3,4 or 5 pads with nothing nothing between the pads around the outside edge of the plate. Check out the exedy website and you can see the difference between a puck clutch and a cushioned button clutch. Hope you can understand that explanation
  15. Brass buttons are a puck clutch(3,4 or 5 puck usually). You should not ride a cushioned button clutch plate or any HD plate for that matter. Otherwise they wont last too much longer. Thats basically the only difference in driving style from a std plate to a cushioned button plate. Other than riding it, they are pretty much similar. Thats why they were designed in the first place, to be not far off the feel of a std plate but give extra grip.
  16. Your on the money there B1. Its called a tamperproof torx bit. I forget what size bit you need.
  17. Yeah, S1 were optional. Just remember, by law, you must NOT remove an airbag equiped wheel and replace it with a non-airbag wheel. Insurance companies, police, you name it, they will know if you have an accident and no airbag was present- NIL insurance cover. Just remember its very easy for any company that has a vested interest in your vehicle to find out if your car was airbag equiped from factory. VIN numbers give it away.
  18. And if the buyer knows his stuff, then it isnt hard at all to look at the new eng number and look it up that its out of a 32. Just a point to think about.
  19. Your block and bottom end should be ok but the rings and the head will be shot.
  20. For the newcastle guys, who else saw the red S6 rx7 die this morning? Along Bridges rd heading into work bout 7.40am saw the rx7 half up on the footpath, half hanging on the road. No left front corner left on the car. Wheel and brakes/sus 20 odd meters up the road and one hell of a divet out of the footpath too. Some major skiddies left on the road, looks like he got all crossed up and took to the footpath. Ouch.
  21. Yeah, its easy as. Basically you spray on the lubricant and then wipe the piece of clay over the section until it feels smooth. Then buff the residue off with a mf towel. Plenty of different clays out there. I used dodo juice clay. Check out the polishes/waxes sticky in this section for plenty of info
  22. Hey guys, just finished claying my 33. First time i've ever used it. Gotta say WOW what a difference. Its so silky smooth now. Cant believe it took me so long to discover clay lol. Cant wait to finish her off now.
  23. Spotted a black R32 friday arvo at kahibah near the shops. Nice and plain, straight looking car.
